**A message from David & Michelle Meyer - 10/5/11:

Michelle and I have elected to do surgery for Jackson that we believe will improve his quality of life. The surgery will help Jackson gain weight and prevent him from throwing up. Two issues we have dealt with since he was born will be taken care once and for all. For parents it is a feeling of accomplishment and peace. We are scheduled for surgery Friday and recuperate over the weekend. If everything goes well we could be home Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. UPDATE 10/6/11 - Surgery will be week after next. This was a tough decision for us. It makes me feel so good to know my colleagues are praying for us to make the best decision for Jackson. We thank you so much for the many prayers and well wishes. Take care and may God bless you. David and Michelle
