Pattern notes

:
Wrist-ees are worked flat, bottom up and then seamed. J A few people have asked me about knitting these in the round. You could knit them in the round if you like! I actually tried them both ways too. I found that with a seam, they keep a nice strong shape just a little bit better, but if you like goin’ round Alice, then feel free to jump on down that hole! ♥

*WHITE RABBIT WRIST-EES*

Ready? Let’s go! With pearl Kidsilk Haze & US 2 needles or size needed to get gauge, cast on 38 (40) (42) stitches in a k1, p1 rib pattern, turn. Set up row: *k1, p1, repeat from * WS Join majestic haze & work stripe pattern in St st as follows: Stripe pattern: -2 rows majestic (knit a row, purl a row) -2 rows pearl (knit a row, purl a row) Don’t break yarn as you change colors between the stripes, just drag the color up the side of your work as you need it. Work stripe pattern in St st until work measures 1.5 “ and you’ve just finished a RS (knitted) majestic row. Now, work increase row on WS in majestic as follows: WS: p1, m1p, purl to one stitch before end of row, m1p, p1. Continue in St st, keeping stripe pattern correct until work measures 4.5“ and you’ve just finished a RS majestic row. WS: (with pearl) * k1, p1 rep from *. RS: (with pearl) Bind off in rib pattern. J Seaming: Use mattress stitch. Seam down from the top for ½“ and stop for thumbhole. Then seam up from bottom and stop to leave 2” open for thumbhole. ~^v^~ I hope you will not get your wrist-ees dirty when you jump down rabbit holes. Also, make sure to eat before you go or you could end up in a lot of trouble! Love, Stephanie xoxo
