Whooo’s Number One?
Matching Game

Owl clip art from Pixel Papers, tree clip art from public domain.

Directions: cut out and laminate all cards. Copy the recording sheet as necessary.
Students match numbers on owls to the number words on the trees, and then put
them in order from 1 to 12. Students can then record the pairs on the recording
sheet. This can be done as a sorting activity in a pocket chart or as an individual
work station.
