I was raised as one of Jehovahs Witness. I learned to read using a bible story book.

For 31 years I always believed every word that was spoken at my place of worship. But most importantly I believed, as billions of others do, that the Holy Bible was the WORD OF GOD! (Indeed it claims to be the word of God. See 2 Sa. 23:2, 2 Tm. 3:16, 2 Pe. 1:20,21)

I accepted every word as the truth and I even evangelized to others that the bible was the word of God.

All this was shattered one day in March 2010. I picked out a book from the library called: How to Read the Bible by James Kugel.

I read it and was crushed. What it said seemed to be true. All the historical and textual evidence pointed to the bible as nothing but political and religious propaganda of the ancient Israelites. Once that thought was rolling through my head I had to ask the horrible question: If this true what about evolution? If the Genesis creation account is nothing but two Mesopotamian creation myths does that mean that evolution is true? I had never before searched for evidence of evolution as I had been raised to take for granted that evolution was false. Indeed I had been brainwashed by my religion to avoid any mention of evolution. On the internet that night I learned about genetic retro-viruses. Humans share over one hundred retro-viruses with chimpanzees and other primates in the exact same spots thus proving a common ancestor.

Further, Chromosome # 2 shows the seam where it merged from primates thus giving us 23 chromosomes and not 24. (<<<From each parent.)

Evolution was FACT! The evidence was 100%.

I cannot say that I still do not believe in an intelligent designer (a force). However as for the bible I have accepted it as myth and historical propaganda. I have however since then embraced the religion of Jedism. Patterned after the Star Wars conception of The Force. I found the concept of the Force fascinating. It was belief in a Force (Quantum Strings?) in the universe (science) but still spiritual.

There is no chaos, there is harmony. (1 Corinthians 14:33 the author of confusion..

For God is not

(Psalm 23:4- Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou [art] with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.)

There is no death, there is the Force.

But the question needs to be asked:

What about the bible?

If evolution is true then we must explain how this text known as the bible was made and why. That is the purpose of this book..
