Buchón Veleño

General Aspects:

In this section the characteristics that determine the race and that
they have a great importance, to the power are integrated to value
the harmony of palomo, its dimensions and weight, the position that
it adopts and their very important temperament, factors as well as
the vividness of their colors and the smoothness of their plumage.

The long means oscillate between 25 and 28 cm. and their weight
between 300 and 400 grs.

Head:

It is cleared and homogenous, without presenting/displaying edges.

The eyes are of intense red color in brown the dark pens and in
clear with the exception of the targets or jazmines that is black.

The ocular borders are fine and present/display a tonality similar

to the colors of the plumage.

The tip is medium and fine.

Carúnculas nasal , must be fine. In some units, specially the

females, marked simply. Its form resembles one uve little
pronouncing, does not have to present/display fissures nor you fold.

Crop and Neck:

The crop starts of the mediation of the inferior part of the tip and
it is offed-hook slightly forming folds, this characteristic it is
accentuated in the units of more age, is of cleared form slightly
fallen and presents/displays in most of the units a crack in the
center of the same one that does not get to divide.

At the time of dumb winter after the autumnal one it

presents/displays bristles that disappear or diminish at the time of
summer. The size of the crop is medium excelling slightly of the
elbows eave.

In flight it takes it fallen increasing its size when one is close

with opposite sex.

The neck is long, which gives to an elegant aspect and a sensation

of dominion in its movements, specially when it settles in other
people's pigeon house and in the presence of a female.

The pens are fine and silky.

Packsaddle:

She is wide without presenting/displaying excessive erizamiento, nor

moños.

Tail:

She is medium, formed by twelve wide pens and that seem to project
from the head with the same angle to the ground. In flight it
maintains it openly and slightly fallen, shrinking it when one is
going away to put in the presence of opposite sex to emphasize his
beauty and harmony.

Legs:

They are long, fine, clean of pens of raised red color.

Wings:

They are medium emphasizing ten pens of flight, do not arrive at the
edge of the tail nor crosses them on this one.

Colors:

The range of colors is not as extensive as the one of other races

predominating the blue ones in its different tonalities, black
smokings or crows, toastings, targets or jazmines, dark, bay in its
different tonalities from per them to bluish and verdinos.

One does not admit the silverplated colors, tobis nor blasting.
