READING TECHNIQUE Flash card

At what age did you start reading ? = 4-5 years A child can read from day 1 (from birth). How can a small child read ? example : cocacola, cadbury, pepsodent, colgate, lux Reasons: 1. There are big letters 2. Attractive colour 3. Repeatation of advertisement 4. Repeatation of watching Why child can't read the book before 6 years ? A normal book has no big letters & the print size is very small for the immature eye pathway to read. If you want to slow the reading process, you can teach him A, B, C, D alphabets. So instead directly show words by making flash cards.

28. Resourceful Step 1. Single word Duration 4 to 17 months Card size = 2.3"x 9 or 2.2X 12 Letter size, Thickness = 1.75 Colour = red Total words = 420 words

Write word exactly in the center of the flash card. Make these flash cards according to categories.

e.g. domestic animals, wild animals, birds, fishes, colours, flowers, vegetables, professions, relationships, body parts, fruits, etc. Make 10 cards of each category. e.g. 10 domestic animals, 10 wild animals, etc. How to show ? Here we take 3 categories & each category having 10 words. Therefore, we show 30 words together. Show 30 cards at a time in front of the child. Maintain the speed. Maximum time required to show 30 cards is 30-35 seconds.

Show 30 cards like this, 3 times a day. (morning-afternoon-evening) There should be gap of to 1 hour between 2 sessions. Show it 3 times a day for 15 days. After 15 days, take new 3 categories of cards i.e. new 30 cards. Show these cards similarly as noted above. Follow this program till 3 and month. 210 cards require 3 and month. 60 cards require 1 month. Make two groups of 420 cards as 210+210 cards. Show 210 cards 3 and month and then revise these again for next 3 and month. So 210 cards require 7 months along with revision. This step has 14 months duration.

Step 2. Couplets Duration 18 to 19 months This step has 2 months duration. 24

e.g. my mother, blue sky, red rose, etc. Make such 80 couplets.

Card size = 2.5"x 18 or 2.5X 12 Letter size, Thickness = 1, height = 2 Colour = red Make 4 groups of 20-20 cards. Show every group thrice a day for 15 days. (everyday 20 cards-1group for 15days) 40 cards require 1 month. So 80 cards require 2 months.

Step 3. Phrases (3 words) Duration 20 to 21 months e.g. I am brave, he is playing, she is dancing, he is sleeping, etc. Card size = 1.6"x 12 Letter size, Thickness = 1.1, height = 1.3 Colour = red

(everyday 20 cards-1group for 15days) 40 cards require 1 month. So 80 cards require 2 months. Step 5. Homemade book Duration 2 to 3 years Use drawing book for making homemade book. Write 4-5 word sentence on 1st page with black marker. (you can use 4-5 different languages.) 25

Paste sentence related picture or photograph on the next page. One homemade book will contain 15-18 pictures & sentences. Show this book thrice a day for 15 days. In 1 month, you should make 2 new such homemade books. In 1 year, you should show total 24 homemade books.

Step 6. Story making homemade book Duration 3 to 4 years Make story in a homemade book. e.g. Family tree & its description, shopping vegetables (description & paste photographs of child while buying), your childs birthday party(description & paste photographs of child & his friends), etc. Write 4-5 sentences on one page describing the event or story. Paste photograph or picture on the page next to the description. Use black broad sketch pen for writing. Show this book thrice a day for 15 days. In 1 month, you should make 2 new such homemade books. In 1 year, you should show total 24 homemade books. Precautions : Dont take Marathi, hindi languages together, as these have same lipi/ phonetics. Keep gap between session, if you want to teach more languages to your child. Show 30 cards of one language. Then show 30cards of another language. If this process is becoming to much lengthy, then take some break. Homework

Dont make any compromise & dont neglect while planning i.e. while writing your vision.

The problem is that the difficulty faced in following it is also the same that your parents faced years ago - to put your 'energetic', ever 'wanting to play' child to sleep To simplify the going to bed time, you can create a bed time ritual that your child enjoys. Like reading a story or poem, playing a particular game, singing or simply praying. You can also treat that time as a talk time with your child when you share your day with him and he shares his. Making him exercise during the day would help him sleep better. Also, you can limit his day time naps to let him have a peaceful and timely night's sleep. Timely and regular bed time habits will not only bring physical benefits to your child but also bring him close to you if you follow your bedtime rituals like talking, reading etc together.

During Pregnancy- Part- I

Vision is very very powerful during pregnancy. (Garbhsanskar) Following are some examples of results of garbhsanskar

e.g. 1. Abhimanyu 2. Ashtavakra rushi 3. German couple 1. Abhimanyu As an unborn child in his mother's womb, Abhimanyu learned the knowledge of entering the deadly and virtually impenetrable Chakravyuha from ShriKrishna. Abhimanyu overheard ShriKrishna talking about this with his sister Subhadra from the womb. ShriKrishna explains to Subhadra in detail, the technique of attacking and escaping from various vyuhas (an array of army formation) such as Makaravyuha, Kurmavyuha, Sarpavyuha etc. After explaining all the vyuhas, he explains about the technique of cracking Chakravyuha. Abhimanyu explains to her how to enter the Chakryavyuha. When he was about to explain how to exit from the Chakravyuha, he realises that Subhadra is asleep and stops expounding on the Chakravyuha further. As a result, he could not hear the whole story about how to exit. So Abhimanyu was able to invade the Chakravyuha with his partial knowledge of entry (but not exit). Ashtavakra rushi As an unborn child in his mother's womb, Ashtavakra rushi was listening to vedas sung by his father Kahod rushi. His father Kahod rushi was vedpandit for many years. So he was having some ego of his status. A voice of unborn child came from mother's womb. Stop singing this aimlessly and at least put one quality in yourself reality. His father Kahod rushi became so angry, because of arrogant behaviour of unborn child. He gave his child a curse that he'll be bent at 8 places in the body. Therefore, his name is Ashta-vakra. Ashtavakra rushi still became well known vedpandit. He was mentor of king Janaka. Ashtavakra rushi wrote very famous novel 'asthavakragita'. German couple German couple had black baby like negros. Both husband & wife were very fair. Then. Why? Because wife put her favourite negro boxer's photographs all over in the home. She thought of negro boxer during whole pregnancy. Such is the miracle. Such is the result of powerful vision. Bhakta pralhad Sage Narada took care of Leelavathi, also called Kayadhu, wife of Hiranyakasyapa, when she was carrying Prahlada in her womb and when Hiranyakasyapa was away for tapas. Prahlada became one of the great devotees of Vishnu thanks to the Ashtakshari Mantra that sage Narada gave him when he was still in his mother's womb. 46

One day, when Naarada maharshi was describing Shri Hari Leelas and greatness of Hari-bhakti, Leelaavati slept off, but Prahlaada who was in her garbham was listening a telling ok ok to all the tattvam that Naarada maharshi was telling. Thus even before Prahlaada was born he got Gnyaanopadesham from Naarada maharshi. On one shubha-lagnam, Prahlaada was born. Devatas showered pushpa-varsham. Through Prahlada, sage Narada helped his father Hiranyakasyapa to meet his death at the hands of Vishnu in the Avatar of Narasimha. 5. Veer savarkar The mother of the freedom fighter, Veer Savarkar used to read the courageous stories from the Ramayana and Maharana Pratap to her son when he was in her womb. Zakir Hussain When tabla maestro, Zakir Hussain was in his mothers womb, his father, Ustad Allah Rakha used to beat lightly with his fingers on his mothers abdomen. British violinist Yehudi Menuhin The famous British violinist Yehudi Menuhin believes that his own musical talent was partly due to the fact that his parents were always singing and playing music before he was born.

Schedule for pregnant lady Say & do in the morning after waking up. Put your hands on your belly & speak loudly. Speak vision sentences. After 3 monthsof pregnancy, child can hear outside voices & sounds.
Wake up early at 6 & do Agnihotra at timing given in chart. Sit there & chant gayatri mantra 108 times (golden effect), 55 times, or 21 times. Why to chant gayatri mantra ? 1. Body points are stimulated by this mantra. Positive vibrations are created &

it creates a protective shield around mother's & baby's body. 2. Plants also grow faster & in improved fashion in presence of gayatri mantra chanting. 3. Animals give more milk, when they listen to gayatri mantra.

(stage 3) Holding the rod, but with your support. Do not allow him to do this exercise independently. Swinging, but with support.
51

(stage 4) Continue swinging for more duration. Introduce pull-ups, brechiation. (stage 5) Child can do brechiation independently. Continue brechiation for more duration. Now give him large objects & tell him to use them. e.g. tell him o pour water from jar into glasses, pull the top of the pen & put it back, serve guests with snack, water, tea, etc. Buttoning & unbuttoning buttons of coat, washing plates, inserting keys in keyhole & opening door, washing cloths, to put shoes & socks on his own, playing in sand, solving the puzzle, clay to play. (stage 6) Add variations of brechiation like 1. skipping the rod. 2. Reverse brechiation 3. Sideways brechiation 4. Twisting & brechiation Repeat brechiation. Give him scientific creative toys. Keep one wall specially for him to create drawings or writing. Give him freedom to write, throw ball, jovelian throw, bow an arrow.

Mathematics (Dot card technique) How many of you love mathematics ?

Many ladies dont like maths, beacuase it was not taught properly. Hence, whole education system is somewhere wrong. Because in this there is a session of 30 minutes of science, maths, English, After sometime, we get bored & restless. There are two types of memories 1. Short term memory 2. Long term memory

etc.

1. Short term memory : Our current education system is based on short term memory. Means whatever is taught, you remember it at that moment & after sometime you forget. e.g. computer typing light gone- memory gone- document vanished. 2. Long term memory : Revise the material once read. Then it get stored in the subconscious mind automatically. Throughtout life, we could not forget it. E.g. nursery rhymes, or poems. To improve this momory, do meditation & chanting. e.g. computer typing light gone-but saved - memory backup- document protected. Vinoba bhave montessary training techniques. Maths is involved in every step of life. e.g. when u cook rice & count how many person would it ?, when u count cloths before giving to dhobi? Every minute of life requires maths. When you make relation with reality, child learns fast. This is called funway learning method. Lets play flash card or encyclopedia beats, etc Child will always be interested & will relate everything with the fact or reality. While teaching child, start from already known thing & end up to unknown thing. E.g. About Autobans highway in German .= road next to our colony, main road, highway, national highway, international highway, etc. E.g. About sea, = tap water, pond water, river water, sea water Learning is combination of listening, speaking , reading & writing. Thus, the repeatation have to happen. Toning is very important. (high-low pitch in voice) Why should we teach maths? It is highest function of the brain & it stimulates the brain maximum. How to teach maths is by dot card teachnique. Swami vivekanand had photo memory. They just require a moment to read a page of book. Shepherds have photo memory too. Shepherds count their sheeps too fast. They just require one moment to count them.
