DEFEND ALL PUBLIC SERVICES
TUSC accepts there is an economic crisis, caused by wealthy bankers and Governments internationally. However, cuts are not needed. The debt problem in this country could be solved by • Reclaiming the £120 billion a year in unpaid taxes that the rich avoid paying or evade. • Nationalising the banks, building societies & financial institutions, so that they could be run by the people for the people, with profits used to support and improve all public services including a fully funded, democratically controlled NHS, completely free locally and nationally at the point of use • Imposing a 5% wealth tax on the richest 10% which, alone, would resolve the debt
The Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition has continued to campaign against cuts in public services and the fight to save public sector jobs and pensions. This campaign now includes a PUB LIC MEETING ON WEDNESDAY O C T O B ER 26 th , 7pm at THE RUGBY UNITED RAILWAY CLUB, Railway Terrace. O ur main speaker is R AILWAY WORKERS LEADER
