Upcoming and Current Outreaches:
Isaiah’s Inn Christmas Dinner – Dec. 4th Isaiah’s Inn is a local ministry to displaced families that we support on a monthly basis. They thoroughly screen clients to provide financial counseling and funds to families who are working but have been in financial crisis. The families must show motivation to be independent and be willing to work towards that goal. This Christmas dinner (at the Highland Complex at 5pm) is a celebration of past and present families who have been blessed by the services of Isaiah’s Inn throughout the year. You will be blessed to celebrate with them and be “Jesus with skin on” for them to see. Please contact Becky Evans (Becky@gracechristian.com) for more details. Operation Christmas Child Each November we participate in collecting shoeboxes filled with toys, school supplies, personal items, and other gifts which are then distributed as Christmas gifts to needy children all over the world. November 13th is the date all the packed boxes need to be back to us so we can deliver them to the drop off site for our area. If you can include the cost of postage with your box, this will help greatly. For more information, please see/contact Lucas Hillman – Lucas@gracechristian.com. Pack-A-Sack at Mildred Helms Elementary Pack-A-Sack is a ministry to help feed disadvantaged children (from Mildred Helms Elementary School, in our local area) over the weekend. These children receive meals from their school during the week; but the school’s social worker pinpoints the children who frequently don't have food over the weekend and the sacks, full of about 12 to 14 healthy snacks, are designated for them. So, throughout the school year, we need prepackaged snacks – healthy snacks are always preferred. The snacks must be sealed and ready to eat. We are providing snacks weekly for 25+ children this year. Please e-mail Heath@gracechristian.com for more info. Mentorship at Mildred Helms Elementary Mildred Helms has asked us for help with mentoring some of their children. Do you have some time to read and talk with a child who could use some encouragement? What a great opportunity to serve our community with the love of Christ! Please see Pastor Randy for more details.

..................................................................................... The 9 t h Annual Ladies Christmas Craft Exchange :
The annual Christmas Craft Exchange is back – Thursday, Dec. 8th at 7pm. This is a fun ladies fellowship to get us in the Christmas mood (and inspire us to use the creative side of our brains!) This is NOT a contest; it’s just a good time and a great opportunity to meet others. Everyone needs to bring one dessert or snack to share and one homemade Christmas craft to give away (not to exceed $20 value). Please contact Becky Evans @ 584-1015 or becky@gracechristian.com for more details.

..................................................................................... Please Pray for Grace Church :
In case you didn’t hear, GCF is pregnant! (Pregnant with a daughter church that is.) We’re excited that God has called us to advance the Kingdom in a way we never have before. We’re sending Pastor Heath and a team of others, who feel called to be a part of this new church plant, to the Dunedin area to begin Grace Church on Feburary 5, 2012! Please continue to pray…these are exciting times!

...................................................................................... Retur ning to One Sunday Morni ng Service :
This is an exciting time for Grace Christian Fellowship as we help give birth to Grace Church in Dunedin, and as we see the Lord move within our own ranks in new and unique ways. With this in mind, we will be returning to one Sunday morning service starting on December 4th at 10am. With all of the new people coming to Grace in the past year, this will be a great new opportunity to 'gather the family together' under one service to rejoice in all that the Lord is doing among us.

..................................................................................... Joi n us For the T urkey Trot!
A group from the church always runs/walks the Turkey Trot together on Thanksgiving morning. It’s a lot of fun! See Becky Evans for more details.
