Vietnam - April 30th, 1975: The sound of explosions outside rock the building. Tiles begin falling and dust rises along the hallways and the command rooms of the American Embassy as it is quickly being evacuated. Soldiers and diplomats race in lines towards the roof where the last helicopters fill up for the departure as the radio inside the communication room blares over the intercom of the building. Warning of the advancing North Vietnamese soldiers.. The chaos among the streets frightened everyone inside the Embassy as they struggled to escape.. Among some of those being evacuated that day.. Pravius was there, looking down to the ground as one of the helicopters lifted off the pad, seeing the building he was just pulled out of by orders overwhelmed by enemy soldiers on all sides... Windows shattered, gun fire and shouts of victory ring out everywhere below.. Pravius watches in disgust.. Feeling the losing end of the war is unfolding before his eyes.. The destruction and chaos. A voice rings out behind him, shouting over the loud sound of the propeller. "Captain!! Where do we go now!?" He turns around and faces the enlisted solder behind him, a man he's known in this war for almost five years now, Staff Sergent Steve Crabtree. "We head to our evac location. Ordered to the U.S.S. Blue Ridge.. Something about new orders." He replied as he turned his eyes back to the ground again, seeing the whole city now as they began flying over the roof tops, heading out over the thick jungles and towards the ocean in the distance. "I hope they're sending us back stateside.. I'm sick of this place!" Crabtree stated as he looked out his side of the craft, sighing a deep breath of relief that he might actually be going home soon. Pravius though had other things on his mind... He could feel the darkness of the jungles below.. The evil's perpetrated by both sides... He has seen it with his own eyes.. These evils of this war. Feeling it is at an end.. Though knowing the things he as seen and been a part of will never leave his mind now. "I don't think it'll ever be over..." He replied quietly to his friends comment. "What was that, Sir?" Crabtree asked as he turned his head back around. "Nothing. Lets just see what our orders are before making any plans." Nodding silently, Crabtree turns his attention back outside the helicopter as the begin to pass over the ocean to the awaiting fleet of ships ahead in the distance. Pravius, in this time era going by the name and title of U.S. Army Captain Michael Pravius, relaxes a bit.. Feeling some relief for himself finally after several years of combat in the jungles behind him now. Though as he feels like his time in them is not over yet.. He ignores the thought for now.. Looking around the cabin of the helicopter at the others that where evacuated along with himself. Soldiers and civilian personnel of the Embassy. Even an Ambassador.. Marten was his name. Everyone had the same feel of fear on them.. Fear of what is to come.. Fear of what had just happened moments earlier. Fear. Throughout the close to five thousand years spent walking this planet.. Among it's population. Fear has driven this worlds people into doing horrible things.. And has led to accomplishing great things as well. He stares out over the ocean for a while longer, drifting off into his thoughts as they approach the landing pad on the Blue Ridge. "We're here, Sir! Looks like we have some welcoming committee!" Crabtree called out as he looked over the ships bridge officers and other high ranking brass waiting for them next to the pad as they slowly came down to a landing. "I don't think they are here for us." Pravius replied, nodding his head towards the Ambassador sitting close to them. Crabtree just smirked with a slight grin, nodding his head in understanding. After touchdown, the occupants began exiting out of the craft. The Ambassador is greeted by the ships Captain as he exits and they begin walking away towards the stair case leading to the bridge. Pravius and Crabtree exit last, holding their bags over their shoulders as they start to
follow the other soldiers to the conference room. "Captain Pravius! Come this way, please!" A voice called out from behind them, causing them to halt and turn quickly to see. A Navy First Lieutenant was standing beside a tall stairwell, looking at them all calling once more. "Wonder what this is about.." Crabtree muttered as Pravius turned and began walking in the new direction. "Not sure.. But I guess I'll find out.. Catch up to you later." Pravius replied as he walked off. Up the stares, he was met by another two enlisted soldiers, saluting to him as they opened the door for the Lieutenant and himself to enter. "Ahh, Pravius. Welcome. Come in, where where expecting you." Stated the ships Captain as Pravius entered, removing his cap and giving a salute to the senior officers in the room. The Ambassador, Marten was also present along with an Army Lt. Colonel who was holding a folder and looking up as Pravius entered. "Captain Pravius, do you know why you where called here?" The Colonel asked as he sat the folder down on a table in the middle of the room, stepping forward a few steps closer to Pravius. Studying the room and feeling out the thoughts of those standing around watching him, waiting for his reply. "I imagine it would have something to do with what just happened a little bit ago.. The evacuation.." The Lt. Colonel cleared his throat a little and replied. "That's partly why you are here.. You're extraordinary record has brought you to our notice for a mission we would like to ask you to perform.. If you would willing." Pravius looked down at the folder on the table for a moment and then back up at the superior officers in front of him. "Depends on what the mission is.." He replied in a low, dark voice. The Captain of the ship then stepped forward a little, replying first. "Pravius, I think I knew your father back in World War II.. Served as a Marine aboard the same ship I was on during the Island wars here in the Pacific. Damn good soldier by what I remember, looked a lot like you too. I figured if you are even half as good a soldier as your father, you would be the right man for this job.." Pravius thought for a moment, recalling his days during the last World War, but not being able to remember the Captain from those days... Knowing he would have been much younger and looked very differently then. He played along anyway. "I don't remember him talking much about his time during those battles. But I do my best the same as he did when it comes to winning, Sir." The ship captain nodded and smiled as he replied. "I know you do, son. Your record shows that in spades. Which is why you where called here today." The Colonial then spoke up, carrying on where the Captain had left off. "This mission is of high priority.. If you choose to accept this, you will be going in at high risk in a one or at most two man team. We have the location of a Prisoner of War camp located 2 kilometers south of the North Vietnamese border.. In this camp, we believe that a high priority target we need rescued and evacuated out. The son of a well known Senator. We believe there are at least five others with him, if possible, rescue them all and bring them to the location that will be marked on the maps provided for the mission. If you wish to bring another soldier to help, that will be fine, but no more than one other.. With the events that have happened today, I cannot express the need for secrecy and confidentiality on this. With the evacuations being tied up and coming to an end, the transport helicopter out will only be able to stay for so long, so time will be a major factor in this for you. You will also have to leave immediately for this mission. The fleet cannot stay here for more than forty-eight hours. So that doesn't give you much time. Do you accept?" Pravius thought for a long moment as he looked over the mission papers in the folder handed to him. "In an out.. I'll take one soldier with me.. Need someone to carry the gear and who won't slow me down.. I'll get it done..." The ship Captain nodded and replied. "Excellent. Lieutenant Hays will escort you to the armory and supply room so you can get ready.. You'll have to leave within the next two hours if you want to get back on time.. Let him know who you wish to have accompany you and they will be debriefed and sent to report to you when you are ready to leave." Giving a salute and a nod, Pravius acknowledged them and turned to follow the Lieutenant back out the door again, heading towards the armory. The next hour was spent well.. Pravius at quickly in the mess hall and made his way to the armory, preparing himself for his mission, the whole time keeping his mind focused on the task ahead.. Packing away mines, grenades, explosives. Grabbing a scoped M14 sniper rifle and slinging over his shoulder along with taking a large box of ammo and putting it in his pack, Pravius was almost ready. He browsed over the selection once more before smiling and pulling an MP-5 down from the wall.. Inspecting the Marine weapon, Pravius muttered, "Nice.. Taking
this one.." to himself. Arming himself and gathering enough explosives, ammunition and other supplies for the journey, he looked around for a moment to see if anyone was around.. Not seeing Lt. Hays nearby, Pravius reached into his side pocket and pulled out something that he has not used in a great many years.. Blowing air over the emitter end of it, knocking some dust off, he inspected his old lightsaber again before clasping it onto his belt beside his field knife. Finally, he was ready. Making his way back out onto the deck again, he looked around for a moment before moving towards the helicopter that was to take him to his destination. As he approached it and threw his things into the back of it, his attention was grabbed by a voice behind him approaching. "Of all the people on this Navy tub, you ask for me? What did I do to you?" Pravius turned around, seeing Staff Sergent Crabtree walking up with his pack and supplies on him. He gave a serious look as he replied to his ally. "Wasn't anything personal.. Know you are eager to head back stateside.. But you are the best spotter I could think of... Being sent on this one last mission.. I'm sure you've already been briefed on the the details?" Crabtree nodded and threw this things in the back of the helicopter as well before jumping in and taking a seat. "Yeah, the L.T. gave me the rundown of what we are going to be doing.. Don't have a good feeling about this one either.. Only two of us being sent in... Even if one of us is You." Pravius didn't reply, he climbed in and sat in the seat beside the pilot, thinking of the bad feeling of this mission he was getting himself.. He knew the Force was speaking to him about this.. He could feel it. Though he pushed these feelings aside for now, ignoring what he could feel to focus on what is to come. "Lets go!" He called out to the pilot as the propellers picked up speed, deafening out all sound but the engine of the craft. Slowly, they lifted off and left the ship behind, making their way back towards the land mass in front of them.. Back into the jungles. The flight took several minutes. Long enough for Crabtree to smoke another cigarette as he watched the approach in silence. Pravius was busy feeling the darkness and evil's of this jungle washing over him once again as they made their way back over land. That dark feeling was strong here. The Dark Side itself is strong here he knew. He sighed out a deep breath and kept his eyes locked on the surrounding treeline as they lowered closer to the ground for drop off. Grabbing their packs and preparing their weapons, Pravius called out "This is close enough!" to the pilot when they where hovering roughly five feet off the ground. As the pilot held his position, the two men lept out, landing on their feet hard and running forward, covering each other and watching the treeline in case they had been seen upon entering. As the helicopter rose back into the sky and began flying off, Pravius looked at his ally and motioned for him to take point at the treeline in front of them. Crabtree ran about fifteen feet in front and knelt down, holding his M-16 rifle up and scanning all around for movement as Pravius ran past him into the trees. Once into the Jungle a short ways, he crouched down behind a tree and looked out, down the sight of his MP-5, making sure the way was clear before he motioned for Crabtree to move up to him. "How far is it to the target?" He asked as he crouched down beside him behind the tree. Pravius pulled his map out from his shirt pocket and unfolded it some, pulling his compass out from a pouch on his hip and placing it on the map, he looked around for signs of exactly where their position was compared to the target location. "Looks to be roughly ten kilometers north by northeast from here.. That direction." He replied after a moment, pointing in the direction they will be going. "Got it." Crabtree replied. "I'll take point again. Lets hurry and get this over with.." He added before he stood up and ran forward a ways, keeping low and holding his rifle up, watching the darkened jungle all around him as he moved. Pravius right behind him about ten feet, keeping low himself.. Stretching out with his feelings and senses deeper into the darkness than his eyes could penetrate. Feeling the movements of everything around as they marched on. After a few hours of the journey, fatigue begins to set in slightly. The intense humidity and heat of the jungle wears on them both. Sweat dripping off of Pravius's brow onto his rifle as he continued to push forward as much as he could. "Sir. Lets halt here for a minute.. I need a drink of water and to catch my breath.." Crabtree quietly called out ahead of him. Pravius halted and looked back, not wanting to stop at all. But feeling his comrade would not be much use if he ended up getting dehydrated or to exhausted to keep his full attention on the task at hand. "Fine.. Fifteen minutes and we move on again." Not missing a beat, Crabtree parked himself at the foot of a large tree, setting his rifle against it and leaning back. He pulled out his canteen and began
downing his water fast. "Damn that's good. Feet are feeling like shit.. Socks are already wet and it's not even raining now.." He sighed loudly and lit a cigarette up, taking in a deep hit and blowing out the smoke, he reclined back against the tree and kicked his feet out.. Enjoying the few minutes he has to relax. Pravius calmly walked over and sat down next to him, taking a few drinks from his own canteen and taking the time to build up his energy again. Though his attention never wavered from his surroundings, keeping his eyes up and his senses open all the way to the world around him. Feeling that there is more than Vietcong out there to worry about.. As he took another drink, a large scorpion crawled up onto his boot and began trying to climb up his leg. Pravius looked down at the large arachnid and smirked slightly. "Damn! Look at the size of that bug." Crabtree exclaimed as he noticed it himself. Pravius reached one hand down and flicked it off his leg and down onto the dirt again, watching as it crawled away into the tall grass again. "It was nothing.. Just a bug.. We need to carry on again soon, finish your cig and drink some more water.. Can't stop again for a while.." Crabtree smirked slightly himself and went back to his relaxing again, drawing in another hit from his cig as Pravius put his canteen away and pulled his lightsaber off his belt and began inspecting it. "What is that thing, if you don't mind me asking?" Crabtree asked as he watched. "It's an old tool of mine.. Had it a very long time.. It's very useful in hostile situations.." Replied Pravius as he adjusted on it and cleaned it up a little more. "Sounds neat.. Might actually get some use out of it during this mission maybe... Not getting any less hostile than right now I believe." Crabtree replied as he flicked his cigarette off into the grass and picked up his rifle again. "Maybe.. We'll have to see. You ready?" Pravius questioned. Nodding and standing back up, Crabtree replied. "Yeah, I'm ready to get this over with." Pravius stood up and put his lightsaber back on his belt again and picked up his rifle heading back into the direction they where heading once more. Noticing that Crabtree is moving faster now.. Feeling his alertness back with him once more. "Keep your eyes sharp.. Ears too. Think we're getting close." Pravius stated as they continued on, staying low and keeping their weapons ready. It was not more than another hour of walking before something else caught Pravius's attention, a sound in the distance of of twigs snapping, causing him to halt fast in his step and kneel down, Crabtree following his action's quickly. "Did you hear that?" Crabtree asked in a hushed whisper, looking down his sight over the tall grass around him, the sweat dripping down his cheek as nervousness sets in. The fear fills the air around Pravius, he can feel it. "Calm yourself.. Relax and focus.." He quietly replied to his ally before focusing his own attention to the world around him. Feeling out into the dark and foreboding jungle with the Force as his eyes. He see's much. "We are not alone..." He whispers out even quieter than before. Seeing what his comrade cannot see. A small group of Vietcong soldiers, roughly seven of them in a line, cutting across their path in front of them about ten yards. Crabtree could not see them.. But he could hear their footsteps and hear the metal on their weapons and clothing jingling. He held his breath and stared out in all directions.. Pravius could feel his fear getting stronger, yet blocked it out of his mind, focusing on the group ahead more than anything. Though that is where everything went wrong. -Inhuman: Part IIAnother twig snaps behind the two soldiers, grabbing Crabtree's attention as he spins his weapon around and looks down the sight in the direction it came from. Pravius keeps his eyes on the group in the front, making their way by cautiously.. As though they are looking for something. "Sir.." Crabtree whispered out very quietly as he tries to let his eyes focus in the darkness. Though before he could continue. "NGƯỜI MỸ!!!" The silence was broke, and the darkness gave way to bright lights pointed directly on the two as another group of Vietcong came up on their flank. Not missing a beat, Pravius swung the barrel of his MP-5 around at the direction of the shouting voice and light and fired off two rounds, impacting his target in the chest. More gun fire
began ringing out, deafening out the whole world as everyone scrambled for cover of some kind. Keeping their heads low and falling back fast, Pravius backed up, firing his weapon now at full auto at the approaching soldiers. Hearing the bullets zipping past his head, he pushed back behind a fallen tree and looked over, continuing to fire back. His eyes lighting up with a fire like glow as he called upon the Force to light up his attacks.. Seeing their aura glowing brightly through the blackness.. Watching as one by one they fell blank as he fired into their direction. Crabtree crawled up under the log beside his Captain keeping in a prone position and firing out from under the fallen tree into the same direction. "I can't see shit!" He yelled out over the sound of all the weapon fire. Pravius ducked down for a moment to reload his weapon, hearing the bullets slam into the trunk he was ducking behind repeatedly. "Just keep firing!!" He called back, snapping a new clip into his rifle and popping back over the log again, continuing to gun down the first ones he could see approaching. "Weapon Jam!!" Crabtree called out after a moment, slamming the palm of his hand against the side of it several times to try to knock the stuck cartridge loose. Pravius couldn't help though, his attention was focused at the numbers of Vietcong appearing all around.. "This is a trap..." He said to himself as he watched more of the glowing red aura's appearing in the dark void of the night jungle.. The darkness only broken by the constant muzzle fire of the many rifles firing in all directions. Noise comes from the bushes behind the two and without a thought, Pravius swings the butt of his rifle back, slamming into someone sneaking up behind and knocking them to the ground hard. His eyes then follow back to see what he hit. A small Vietnamese child, laying on the dirt unconscious and bleeding from his nose.. In the child's hand.. A live grenade.. "Oh shit..." Is all that he had time to mutter.. Crabtree saw himself and rolled under the log more to get away, but Pravius was wide open. He stood to get out of the way, but too late. A bright flash and a loud bang.. And then darkness falls over the world and all goes silent as he is thrown from the blast, tumbling through the air into a large tree several feet away, slamming into it hard with his back and falling into the tall grass, unconscious and wounded. The sounds of battle continued for a few more minutes as he lay there bleeding. Finally ending as they overwhelmed the position where Crabtree was still firing out of... Taking him. His screams and insults cut short as they began beating him, taking away his weapons and beating him with them. Eventually knocking the soldier out and dragging him off back to their camp continuing to beat on him as they went.. Believing that the other one was now dead, they didn't search for Pravius.. Leaving him laying face down in the dirt.. Time Passes.. As the sun rises and breaks through the darkness of the jungle.. Pravius begins to stir. Groaning slightly as he struggles to pull himself back up again into a sitting position. He looks down at a large snake crawling across him and picks it up, throwing it away into the grass before moving his hand to his head, feeling a sharp pain as he touches his hair line.. Feeling something wet. He looks at his hand again and see's the blood on his fingers before balling his hand into a fist.. Growling to himself as he snarls and slowly rises back to his feet again. "Oh... That hurt.. Steven!! Sergent!!" He calls out, but no reply. He moves back over to where the explosion happened earlier and looks around, not finding his ally, but finding items of his.. Including a photograph of his wife, laying half burried in the dirt under the log he was covering under. He picks up the photo and puts it into his shirt pocket and picks up his rifle again.. Inspecting it for a moment before realizing it was damaged from the explosion. "Damn.." He uttered as he tossed it back to the ground again and picked up his pack. He looked through the contents to make sure everything was still there.. Surprised to find nothing had been taken. "They must have been in a hurry... Didn't get any of these explosives or ammunition.. Works for me.." He slings the pack over his shoulder and picks up his MP-14 from off the ground, checking it out for a moment to make sure it still works before raising his head and looking into the direction of the enemy camp.. Where he is sure they went with Crabtree.. He sighs out a deep breath and begins his journey.. Alone now, he feels he can move much faster.. Though he knows he will have to watch his actions once he arrives so he doesn't give away his full potential in front of his allies there. For now though, he is
free to be himself again for a while. Taking in a deep breath and looking outward into the direction he must go, he raises one hand up slowly, narrowing his eyes as he focuses the power of the Force outward.. Bending the tree's back and clearing a path for himself. Slowly, dozens, hundreds of trees bend back, snapping and falling to the ground with heavy thuds, opening the way for him to move much faster. He smiles to himself for a moment as he lowers his hand and readies himself for his next move. Again drawing upon the Force around him, he explodes in a flash, darting across the ground and down the new path in front of him, seeming a blur as he moves. Time seems to stand still as he runs. The birds seen as he passes look frozen in place as he rushes past them. More tree's ahead, he throws his hand out as he approaches and fires out a massive Force wave into them, blowing the tree's out of the earth and out of his path as he whips by them before they could touch the ground. When he believes he has approached close enough, he stops suddenly. Seeming to just appear out of no where, the wind catching up to him after a moment, sending leaves and dust blowing past him and around him as he looks around and observes where is now. Checking his map for a moment, Pravius slowing begins to walk forward again, ducking down lower into the tall grass as he climbs up a hill and peeks over the other side. Down the other side of the hill, about a hundred yards out, a large encampment is seen. Several large huts surrounded by a large wooden fence around the parameter. Several Vietcong soldiers are seen paroling the edge of the parameter and main gate. Taking his scoped M-14 from his shoulder and aiming it down to the camp, Pravius looks through the sight and inspects the target area ahead a little closer. Seeing a few dozen Vietcong walking around or sitting around inside of a large hut, eating. There are four prisoners of war, shirtless and thin.. Their ribs all showing and looking very malnourished. He scans a little more before finding Sgt. Crabtree, tied up on a large wooden pillar. A Vietcong officer standing in front of him and screaming something at him. Whipping his legs repeatedly with a bamboo stick. He could see his allies face contort from screaming in pain, though he could not hear him from this distance. Rage grew inside of Pravius as he watched. Unable to stop anything at this moment. If he fired a shot, he would give himself away the element of surprise. He kept watching as he thought of what to do. Trying to find a way into the camp without being seen. Though as he watched, the scene before him escalated.. The Vietcong officer walked over and pulled a torch from the exterior wall of one of the huts and walked back over the bound up and several beaten Sergent, throwing the torch at his feet where a large pile of timber and brush where piled up, igniting upon impact with the flame.. The fire rose high quickly, engulfing the Sgt. Crabtree up to his waste in flames. His screams now could be heard by Pravius as the fire grew and climbed up his body more. The scene was something that would haunt Pravius's dreams for the rest of his life.. His teeth clenched as he growled out.. Not able to stand watching this inhuman act anymore. He looked down the scope of his rifle once more.. Taking aim.. And firing only one shot.. Below, the Vietcong officer stood back and watched at Sgt. Crabtree burned, screaming and fighting for freedom as he was being eaten alive by the fire. The officer smiled, but that smile was erased as Crabtree's chest exploded inward and he was silenced permanently.. A moment later, a loud bang could be heard echoing throughout the valley. The officer flipped around and faced the direction of the shot, looking out into the distant tree's for a moment, in shock slightly. He did not stay stunned for long before shouting out orders to all his men, pointing in the direction of Pravius as he watched from his scope as they scrambled out to find him. He looked away from his scope for a moment, a stern and serious look on his face as he sat the rifle against the tree beside him and slid back down the hill again. Once down, he thought for a moment of how he was going to pull this off exactly.. Not having much time because he could already hear the Vietcong solders making their way closer to him. Exhaling a deep breath, he reached down and pulled out his field knife, gripping it tightly in his hand with the blade pointing down. His eyes sharp and taking on a red and yellowish glow as the Dark Side filled him... The hate and evils of this land and it's war filling him.. Giving him focus for what he has to do.. As the first of the soldiers broke through the treeline where he was behind, they found nothing, just his rifle leaning against the tree where he took the shot earlier.. They looked around at each other confused for a
moment before holding their weapons up and spreading out... None would ever be seen again.. Up in the tree's, Pravius watched as they walked by under him.. Searching for any signs of their attacker. The one in the back of the line was his first target.. Leaping down into the grass again, making not a sound as he landed, Pravius walked up behind him and kicked him in the back of the knees, bringing him down and back towards him slightly. With a hard jab, Pravius slammed the blade into the temple of the soldier, silencing him before he could call out to the others. Ripping the blade from the man's head, he continued on, stalking and systematically killing each and every one of the hunters, one by one. After a short time, they began to notice each other coming up missing from the group, becoming more frightened, they stuck closer together.. Their fear filled the air all around them, Pravius could feel it as thick as the air of the jungle itself. Not being able to find a way to separate them again, he let himself be seen finally. Leaping out of the tree he was crouched in and landing directly in the middle of the small group, Pravius scattered him out, stunning and scaring them all. He took the moments pause from them as an advantage.. Swinging out with his knife at the first man he saw, slicing the blade against the mans throat as he spun around and faced another two. There he threw his other hand out at them, pushing out a massive and powerful Force wave upon them, sending the two men hurdling into the distance, each one slamming into trees and rocks close to the ground before coming to a stop about two hundred yards away, their bodies broken and disfigured. The last two of the soldiers regained their composure for a moment, taking aim. Yet before they could squeeze their triggers, Pravius seemed to vanish before their eyes.. Using his Force speed, he darted between the two, slamming his knife deep into one of the men as he came to a stop, the blade hitting him so hard that it literally ripped threw the man, leaving him in two halves on the ground. The blood soaked over Pravius's uniform. The last of the Vietcong soldiers looked upon this in horror. Seeing as the American soldier turned his fire red eyes upon him. His teeth gnashed and a low growl coming from his throat as he stared down the young Vietnamese soldier. Dropping his rifle, the man tried to flee, horrified beyond all words and thinking. Pravius did not let him get far. Reaching out with his left hand and gripping the man with the Force, he lifted the soldier up into the air. Screaming, the Vietcong soldier fought to get free. horrified he kept screaming out. "Ma quỷ!! Ma quỷ!!!" Pravius held him higher into the air before closing his fingers and balling up his fist.. Crushing the life out of the man along with all of his bones. After a moment, Pravius let go, letting the soldiers crushed and broken body slam into the dirt, making a loud squishing sound as it hit. He stood there for a moment, looking down at the dead soldier for a moment before turning his eyes towards the camp once more.. With a stern look on his face still, he moved. Faster than before, he roared over the land, between the trees and over the hills up to the fence. Appearing almost out of no where, he ducked down, feeling the presence of still more men inside of this place. Sitting down for a moment, Pravius removed the pack from over his shoulder and opened it up, looking at the plasique explosives and mines inside. A plan came to his mind.. And a grin across is face as he looked up again. Staring at the fence, he focused is Force power into his vision, seeing through the all of the walls in his way.. Seeing the aura's of all of his enemies inside.. Finding the five prisoners as well. Each of them locked up inside of one of the huts together. "Good.. At least I know where they are now.. Should make this slightly easier.." He muttered to himself as he stood back up again. He turned his eyes around and looked more, finding that the bulk of the rest of the soldiers where all inside one hut. Apparently eating it looked like. No one was looking for him or paying attention even. "Perfect.." He stated as he looked to the sky, bending his knees and pushing the Force out threw his feet, launching him high into the air. He flipped a couple times and landed on the other side of the fence, behind one of the huts. He leaned against the building, pressing his back up to it as he looked around, making sure that he wasn't seen before he moved on again. Seeing that his cover was not blown, he moved on, quietly making his way to the hut with all the soldiers inside. Laying down prone, he began crawling under the building, making his way far under it, hearing the footsteps, conversation and laughter going on above him, he turned around and looked up, removing some of the plasique explosives and placing it against the underside of the floor. He moved around and planted two
more under the building before making his way back out behind the building again. From there, he moved on, using his speed, he bolted around to the front of the camp again. Planting a few of the landmines at the gate entrance so fast it seemed he was never there at all. Then he made his way to the hut with the captives inside. Hiding behind the hut, Pravius reached into the pack and took out a detonator before tossing the empty bag to the ground. Holding the detonator in one hand, he reached to his him and took his lightsaber into his other. Now he was ready... Taking in a deep breath and closing his eyes, he cleared his mind and focused, as he exhaled, he opened his eyes and pushed the button on the detonator. On the other side of the camp, the Vietcong soldiers remaining patrolled the perimeter or sat inside of the large hut, eating and laughing. Then hell happened. The hut with all the men inside of it erupted into a massive ball of flames. The explosion was so massive, the very ground shook like an earthquake. The sound could be heard for many miles in all directions. Debris was thrown into other huts around, some impaling or decapitating some of the guards walking around. Survivors where blown off their feet, knocked down into the dirt. The Vietcong officer ran out of his hut a moment later, looking upon the scene with horror in his eyes. He walked out, passing some of the mutilated and burning bodies of the men that where inside, now laying in pieces all across the encampment. As the survivors stood back up again, a single voice spoke out from behind the officer. "Hey.. Behind you..." The officer spun around fast, looking upon Pravius, standing there defiantly, blood soaked into his olive green uniform, the color of fire in his eyes. He stated one thing as the officer looked at him in shock. "Hell đã đến để yêu cầu bồi thường tất cả các bạn!!" Roughly translated, 'Hell has come to claim you all.' With that, he activated his crimson red lightsaber blade.. The hum of the blade echoing out, the glow like red fire, matching the red in his eyes almost. The officer stepped backwards, his jaw open and eyes wide.. Pravius could feel the terror dripping off of him as he stepped forward towards him. The surviving Vietcong soldiers looked upon him with equal terror and fled. Running out of the open gate and right into the mine trap that Pravius laid earlier. More explosions ring out as the men die all together, blown high into the air, causing a rain of body parts to fall upon the ground. The officer kept his eyes on Pravius as he stepped closer to him, his lightsaber pointing out at him as he approached. The officer kept backing up until he tripped over a severed leg laying on the ground, causing him to fall over on his back. He continued to look up at what he considered a true devil and tried to scoot away, crawling across the dirt on his back. Pravius looked over to where Sgt. Crabtree's lifeless body hung, still burning, anger and hatred filled him.. The light in his eyes glowed brighter as he turned them back to his fallen foe. He deactivated his lightsaber then.. "No... This is too easy... You don't deserve to die by my blade..." He breathed heavy, rage and anger filling him.. He could not think of anything other than blood at this moment. Revenge.. Reaching his hand out towards the burned corpse of Sgt. Crabtree, he used the Force to pull the dead soldiers dog tags off from around his neck, sending them flying through the air, straight into Pravius's hand. He stood there and kept his eyes locked onto the Vietcong's eyes as he wrapped the chain around his hand tightly, keeping the tags poking out from between his fingers. "Come here..." He growled as he bend down and picked the man up by the throat, throwing him with all of his might across the camp, into another one of the huts. The officer struggled to stand back up, coughing and pleading in his native language for mercy... Pleads that fell on deaf ears as Pravius darted at him at blinding speed, slamming his fist into the mans face, knocking him into the building hard and causing him to fall back to the ground again. He looked up holding his face, his eye busted and jaw broken already. The blood lust continued for Pravius as he bent down and took the officer by the neck again, raising his fist into the air and staring the man into his one good eye left.. His eyes flashed red once more before he slammed his fist into the mans face again and again. Over and over. hammering him into the dirt until all he was punching was bits of broken skull and brain matter. He kept pounding away in such rage that he felt it would never stop. Finally, after several minutes of beating the officers lifeless corpse, he stood up again, blood soaking his whole uniform now, he roared out with a might Force scream of pure rage, anger and frustration... The roar itself was like a lion, animals far in the distance ran, fearing a predator was nearby. They where close to right. When he calmed himself a little, he stood there catching his breath slightly, looking down at himself, blood all over his hands, arms
and chest. He opened his palms and stared down at them for a moment.. Realized what he has done.. Not sorry for it in the least.. Feeling that they deserved worse for what they had done.. Feeling so much anger for the years wasted in this war.. For the eons spent on this planet.. His rage and frustration had hit it's limit. Though calming down, he still was shaking slightly, the adrenaline pumping through his veins still. And he tried to catch his breath still, he remembered why he was here again, turning his head and eyes back behind him at the hut that the prisoners where in. He sighed out a deep breath and calmed himself more before making his way over to the door. Using his lightsaber once again, he cut through the lock with ease, deactivating quickly and pulling the door open. The men inside shielded their eyes from the light outside, seeing only a silhouette standing in the door, they didn't know what to think. "Who is it!? What's going on out there!?" One of them shouted. As Pravius stepped through the door, they could see his U.S. Army uniform, soaked in blood. "He's one of ours... Oh my god.. Thank you.. How did you get here.. How did you find us?" The officer of the group asked out in relief. "No time.. Our transport out of here leaves in six hours.. We have to hurry, I'll explain on the way." He quickly replied back as he began unlocking the restrains holding the men in place. "Can you walk?" He asked as he freed the last of the men. "We'll bloody well walk out of this place for sure.." The leader of the group answered as he helped one of his friends stand up. "Good.. Lets go. Follow me and stay close." Pravius responded as he aided the men out of the hut, one by one, leaving himself once the last of them where out. Each of the former prisoners grabbed a rifle or gun from one of the dead Vietcong soldiers and armed themselves for the journey as Pravius walked towards the gate and called back to them. "C'mon! We have to hurry!! This way!" They walk to the extraction point seemed not as long as the trek to the camp in the first place... Each of the men finding new strength and vigor where they had none hours earlier. Pushing themselves over hills and through the thick jungles, keeping close to Pravius as he led them onward. Eventually hitting a wide clearing. A sound from above catches their eyes. Dozens, many many dozens of helicopters flying over head. The sun setting in the distance casts them all in a silhouette as they flew overhead. Pravius reached onto his belt and pulled off a smoke grenade and pulled the pin, throwing it into the middle of the clearing and waving his hands into the air as the red smoke began bellowing out. Signaling to all above to look down. Eventually, one of the helicopters turned around and flew down towards them. The men shouted in excitement, realizing their long nightmare was finally over. Minutes later, once everyone was aboard the craft and it had taken back off again, Pravius lurched down in his seat... Feeling exhaustion welling over him... He looked down to his hand again and unraveled the dog tags from his fallen comrade, looking at them for a long time as they flew over the land and finally over the ocean again. He opened his shirt pocket and placed the tags there next to the picture of Crabtree's wife.. Planning to give them both to her once he made it back stateside again.. For now, he rested.. Looking out over the ocean as he left that jungle behind him... Feeling that darkness and evil growing more distant with every moment as they fly towards the awaiting fleet again. His face calm... Yet worried.. The visions of the things he has seen haunt him already.. He knows they always will now. Despite his power and ability.. Nothing could have prepared him for the horrors of this species and what they do to each other. "Even Mandalorians have more respect for their captured enemies than that." He thought to himself as he drifted off into his mind. Shutting out the world... He fell asleep finally... And slept hard.. Dreaming of the life he once had.. Of Demonikus.. Dreaming as if that was all it ever really was... A dream...
