Titus Project is dedicated to equipping church

LIFE CHANGING
Titus Project not only equipped me to be a better teacher, it also taught me to be a better follower of God. The training time equipped us with skills for preparing and presenting effective teachings and although I already had some experience teaching, I learned things that I never knew before. Moreover, the program helped me to learn to rely on God rather than myself. The times when He showed me how to rely on Him were the most precious moments with God that I had ever experienced on outreach. God revealed to me through the program that He is the real God and everything is under His control. For me to be able to do this program felt like I was working for the Father, the God of universe, who can do all things. He wanted me, and He chose me to be His partner through the outreach. It was the most amazing feeling ever! -Mae Phomprasert

leaders throughout the world in the Word of God. To accomplish this, we develop School of Biblical Studies graduates in teaching and preaching, and mobilize them into areas where Bible training is greatly needed Read about the eleven students we sent to Asia and South America. The Bible has the power to transform lives and nations and we saw change take place before our eyes.

Soul Sickness: The Bible is the Cure
One Sunday morning, my team mate Victoria taught the Inductive Method to a congregation in Bolivia. She finished by giving a final exhortation and asked them to join us at our next seminar at another church. When we arrived at our seminar we were pleased to see that a man named Juan had chosen to come. Juan was extremely quiet but greeted all of us with a customary kiss and warm embrace. This seminar ended up being the low point of the outreach. Attendance was less and less each night and those who came didnt seem to be particularly eager to learn. Juan was there every night though, Bible and note book in hand, hanging on every word, eager to pray and take part in ministry times. God began to lay Juan on all of our hearts and we began to thank Him for our one faithful attendee. In our team prayer times we sensed that we were to teach with all our hearts, even if Juan was the only one who wanted to learn. His genuine hunger kept us going and we looked forward to seeing his smiling face each evening. At the end of our seminar Juan asked to share his testimony. We learned that the Sunday Victoria spoke at his church he had been contemplating taking his life. Bad choices he had made had destroyed his familys faith in him and his wife and children wanted to leave him. He asked the pastor for prayer and the pastor told him his soul was sick because of the way he had been living . He said that Gods Word was the medicine he needed and encouraged him to attend our Bible Overview seminar. God brought Juan to our seminar that week and each night He was faithful to teach Juan about His character and to challenge Him to live a Godly life. Juan was so moved by what he learned that every night he went home and taught his family all that he had learned. The family repented and recommitted themselves to each other and to God. In closing, Juan said said he was so thankful that we had come to teach and that he was dedicating his life to learn as much as he could about God so that he could use that knowledge to change the lives of other families who are hurting just as his family was. After Juan finished sharing I reflected on all that he had said and came to a better understanding of what it means to teach. I realized that teaching is never about me, my ability or my plan but it is always about God. God sent five ordinary people from the United States to teach one man in Bolivia and through that one man I know that countless other lives will be transformed. -Breanna Loving

Me? Teach in SBS?

One of my many favorite moments was getting to teach the book of Habakkuk for the School of Biblical Studies in Pichilemu, Chile. I never thought I would get through it! There was no way I could actually teach a book of the Bible! God enabled me to do what looked impossible. As I studied to teach this small [but significant] book, I was challenged in my own walk with Godlearning that he does not condemn us for having questions, but he wants us to know and trust who he is in the midst of the circumstances

that stir them up. I got to see freedom in the eyes of the students as I shared this truth with them, and I'll never forget the way it felt to be a part of what God was doing in their lives at that moment. I am constantly amazed that He would use a broken vessel like myself to amplify his truth and impact the lives of others. - Tara Balvin

God used me even when I didnt think that I was able to be used. He used me speak to a church congregation in Argentina about the importance of teaching their youth about the Bible. This was a task I felt under qualified and unprepared to do, but God was there. Their hearts were moved, and as people began to thank me I was humbled; Humbled that God chose to use me. -Chrissy Dee

A Blessing in Disguise
Titus Project, for me, was a big blessing in disguise. Coming into it, I really didnt know what to expect. But it became the fulfillment of one of my favorite bible verses (Ezra 7:10): For Ezra had set his heart to study the law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach the statutes and ordinances in Israel. In my SBS I learned how to study the word (through observation and interpretation), and then to do what it says (through application) but I never learned how to teach all of the things that God laid on my heart. Titus Project gave me the tools as well as the courage to teach his truths. It taught me the essentials of preparation and presentation but more importantly seeking God knowing that he would show up. And its CRAZY, because he always showed up exactly on time; He was never early (which sometimes made me nervous), but he was also never late (which always left me in awe). Where ever we taught (church, DTS, SBS, Slums, etc) God constantly gave us fresh ideas on how to reach the people. Another important lesson I learned was the importance and power of Godly families in ministry. My wife (Maria) and 10 month old son(Ezra), joined us on outreach. Their presence opened up so many doors. In a country like Uruguay (where family values are under attack), a Godly family is a powerful testimony to who God is. It really encouraged me to be a better father, and husband; Never putting ministry before family, but always serving God together. Maybe you feel you are called to be a teacher of truth, or maybe you just want to learn how to share what God has done in your life. Whatever the case may be, I have two words for you: TITUS PROJECT! -Christopher Ko
From my experience in Titus Project I
realized that teachers must never underestimate the power of time spent outside the classroom. God can and will use the way you live your life with Him in ministering to those around you, even when you are least expecting it. -Victoria Christiansen

I am glad I did Titus because I now have the tools to teach the Bible. It is important for me to pass what I learned in SBS on to other people because I know that the only thing that will really satisfy us in this world is Him. -Ryan Ast

MONGOLIA

YES IT CAN!
We all have moments when we question our effectiveness in ministry, asking if God is truly using us as His instruments to impact the people we are serving. At 20 years old, could my teaching really advance the Kingdom of God? Yes it can. We ran a week long Inductive Method Bible Study Seminar using the book of Philemon for a group of more than 30 pastors and church planters that had gathered from all over Mongolia. As I stood before them, I couldnt believe that I was teaching to such an amazing group of people. They were twice my age and were founders of the church in Mongolia. This was a group of saints sitting before me, who had major callings on their lives and were willing to serve God to their fullest, spreading the gospel and building up the church of Christ. Yet they didnt know the things we had come to teach and they were eager and thankful to learn from a group of 20-year olds. It was not about us, but about the power of Gods Word. God reminded me right there that He was using us in work that was much farther reaching than just those who were there that day. The seeds that were planted in them would take root and multiply in the churches they represented. There is a world out there that is hungry for the sort of Bible teaching you have received in SBS. Will you re-invest what has been planted in you into those who are ready to be taught? The world is waiting. -Natalie Deniston I will never forget the day that I was asked to teach my first book of Bible. I had been given the opportunity to teach the book of Colossians in the Mongolian SBS however there was a catch; I only had 36 hours to prepare my teaching. As I prepared, the teaching started unfolding right in front of me and by Monday morning I was ready to teach. Looking back on this experience I really am amazed at how well it came together, it was as if the teaching was inside me the whole time; prepared and complete, I just needed to go in and get it. I know that this entire situation was God's doing; that He was going before me, paving the way and perfectly placing my every step. Isaac Linton

PASTORS SEMINAR IN DARKHAN

These Pastors had come from different cities and some even from the countryside. Most of them were at least ten to twenty years older than me, but they are excited about the gospel. God is mov ing in Mongolia, and I was privileged to be apart of it. -Christine Almquist
