The key to obtain competitive terms from underwriters is to prepare the submission to be made in form of Broking Slips to underwriters such that all the positive aspects of the risk are brought out effectively. This will ensure that underwriters view the risk positively & provide their best terms. Similarly RFQ will also be prepared keeping in mind all risk exposures as mentioned earlier and include all the relevant coverage and Add Ons, so that all insurable exposures are covered. Further standardization of RFQs will help in effective comparison of the quotes.
