Your Fate Is In Your Hands

Palm Reading is also called Palmistry orChiromancy (meaning hand prediction). It is an analysis of a person's hand to foretell the future and personalities. It has been used for centuries in different cultures, and there are many variations of the interpretation. This site's reading is based on Chinese origin. Palm Reading is considered the most fundamental technique in Chinese fortunetelling. In the old days when a person's birthday is unavailable or inaccurate for horoscope analysis, a palm reading master can study the person's hand to foretell future and traits. The analysis is based on the lines and creases on the palm, and characteristics of the arm, hand, palm, finger, and fingernail. The study of Chinese palm reading can be dated back to three thousand years ago. Today, it remains a commonly used fortunetelling technique in China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. Most people do not have identical lines and creases on their right and left palms. So, which hand should be used? In general, both hands have imbedded messages for you to uncover. However, to be more accurate in the reading, follow the special "age and gender rule" below:
Male

If you are less than 30 years old, use the left hand for primary reading and the right hand to supplement the analysis if needed. If you are more than 30 years old, do the opposite.
Female

If you are less than 30 years old, use the right hand for primary reading and the left hand to supplement the analysis if needed. If you are more than 30 years old, do the opposite.

There is another saying that a man's left hand represents what he was born with physically and materially, including his family and heritage, and his right hand represents what he becomes after grown up, including relationship, health, social status, etc. For a woman, it is the opposite hand, that is, right hand for "born to be" and left hand for "grown to be". This interpretation coincides with the special "age and gender rule" mentioned above. Typically, a person is heavily influenced by his parents, family heritage, and upbringing environment from birth through

his young adulthood. Gradually after his independence, he is a man of his own doing and destiny. Therefore, using age 30 as a milestone to switch hand for the analysis will increase the accuracy. As to using opposite hands for man and woman, it is based on the Taoism's principle of Ying (woman) and Yang (man).

3 Major Palm Lines Life Line

The Life Line starts from the top of the palm, between the thumb and the index finger, and goes toward the bottom edge of the palm. The length of the Life Line does not necessary represent longevity, it represents the strength of life both physically and mentally.

If the Life Line is long, deep and red, it represents strong vitality, good immune system, and does not get sick easily. If it is short and shallow, the person tends to be weaker or has more health issues. If the line is thicker, the person is better with physical work or sports, or if the line is thinner, the person is better with work requiring more brain-power and less physical. If the palm area it encloses (from the base of the thumb to the Life Line) is larger, it represents a more energetic and romantic life, or if it is smaller, it represents fatigue.

If there are iron-chain-like creases at the beginning of the line (on the edge of palm between the thumb and the index finger), it indicates frequent illness during childhood.

Similarly, if there are breaks or has small creases near the end of the line, it indicates health problems at old age.

If there are small circular creases in the middle of the line, it indicates major illness or hospitalization during the lifetime - the bigger the crease, the worse the condition is and longer it lasts.

Wisdom Line (or Head Line)

The Wisdom Line is also called the Head Line and is considered the most important one in Chinese Palm Reading. It represents the person himself/herself. Its starting point is close to or same as the Life Line, and it runs across the palm towards the pinkie finger. It is considered ideal if it ends below where pinkie finger and ring finger join.

If the Wisdom Line is short, it means lack of intelligence, but if it is too long, the person tends to outsmart others and cause self-inflicted troubles. A thin and deep line means smart, focused and thinking clearly. If there are circular creases along the line, it means unfocused, bad memory or possible head injury. If there are iron-chain-like creases at the beginning of the line, it indicates education will be affected by bad environment.

The Wisdom Line may overlap with the Life Line at the beginning before they separate. The overlapping means a person is introverted, careful, or detail-oriented, however, too much overlapping means indecisive and worrying too much.

If the two lines start from the same point but separate right away (no overlapping), it means decisive and determinative personality, and can handle adventurous and erratic situations.

If the two lines are totally separated (dont share the starting point and no overlapping), it represents extreme bravery, extroverted, fearless or audacious.
