walking through for some days now, her feet bare, clean and perfect, all of her was perfect cause of her race. her wings were concelled by her magick. she scanned the moonlit clearing and took a cautious step onto the grass, then another til she was making her way to the clearing, her long black hair hanging loosely around her. freki says: dsurion had gone out from his mountain home to find a magic artifact, an item called the merius vallen, a possesion of his former master. this was one of the few times he'd ever leave, he never really did without importances like food, drink and random short quests, and occasionally the wish to obtain more knowledge from tomes of magic. he travelled through through a forest, not much there, most activity there was completely gone at the time, and though dsurion found it suspicious, he didn't let it bother him for very long. he traveled at this time to the nearest town, a full nineteen-hundred paces from his own home. he entered a gigantic inn, not particularly any reason for this place, just a wish to rest and have a fill of ale. seraph says: ana hummed alittle, as she turned in a small semi-circle, her light grey eyes looking around as she absentmindedly ran her fingers over the charm attached to the necklace around her neck. she knew she needed to go into town but depised it for the iron, iron could be deadly to her kind so she did her best to avoid it but she desperately needed silk and the town had it.so, taking a deep breath she undid the magick that concelled her wings and took flight, the grass only leaving a slight indentation of her ever being there as she flew towards the small torches she was that was the town, her delicate wings carrying her swiftly to her destination. freki says: it was a cheery place with dancers and many bards and musicians playing lively music. the tavern portion of the place was filled almost completely, only two seats were actually available. most of the occupants appeared to be what one would think of regulars at the place, especially since about half of them started to whisper things to each other when dsurion entered as an unfamiliar. he ignored all of it, going straight to the counter and laying his purse of coins on the surface, and in his low monotone voice, he said only, "the finest ale and meal i can get with this," never even looking at the innkeeper. his head remained in a downwards position, more towards the ground. but when a bottle was shown to him, as if to gain his approval, dsurion merely raised his hand, as if to say, "alright." he listened in on many of the ongoing conversations around, dsurion had found that this particular area had been prone
to being attacked quite a bit by surrounding beasts of all sorts. after he'd finished his food and drink, he made motion for the innkeeper to come in closer. seraph says: ana landed on the darkened outskirts of town, the wind whispering to her in it's voice as she caught the sounds she tilted her head slightly, her slim hand still around the charm. a small smile formed on her full lips,"yuoxti..."she whispered in her musical voice as her wings vanished from sight again and she walked her way into the town, her body holding etheral glow in the darker areas of the shadows as she made her way to the town's inn, slipping in quietly, a few eyes, mostly those of the males moving to her presence, she knew good and well what they were looking at and moved with inhuman grace to the empty seat she saw visible, and took her place as she smiled at the bartender,"fire water please,"she said slipping him a silver coin across the wood table. freki says: "what can i do for you, friend?" "your issue of attacks, would you mind filling me in on it?" "ah, tis a sad story really, not one of the men in this village have combat experience, so we've not been able to fight back." "tell me what it is that strikes and a normal time it happens." "you some type of adventurer? it's nightly attacks by goblins, strong, greedy goblins. "300 gold pieces and i'll take care of it." a look of surprise appeared on the man's face, "you think you can take those things down!" "i'll also ask for a room here, free of charge for as long as it takes. not one creature have i faced has lived to see past three days. i'd like to try to rest now, please show me to a room and wake me before you sleep, or if they happen to attack at any other time." "but of course! anything to keep our peace." seraph says: ana listened the whole as the man placed her small mug of "fire water" in front of her as he carried on his conversation with the man who was going to take care of the goblins. she shook her head,"another life wasted..."she murmured, lifting the mug to her lips and daintly taking a drink, letting the liquid flow down her throat, enjoying the slight burning sensation she felt from the beverage. freki says: upon hearing the comment, dsurion shifted his head slightly to the direction of the girl from whence it came. doing little more than that, he ate a slight of his meal. when finished, he walked around, seeminly without reason, but then quickly stood behind the girl from before. in his normal low, monotone voice, "...so you think it's
impossible...?" seraph says: ana turned and stood up, unfolding her small child-like frame from the chair, standing 5'2","i did not say that, sir,"she said in her soft voice, barely audible from the rowdiness of the tavern,"i merely was saying it twas a waste of a young life, let warriors deal with fights you seem more like a scholar or a bard than a brute." freki says: dsurion towered over her, at a height of 6 feet tall, and as usual with all people, he had to look down to see the girl. "my hearing is sharp milady, i can tell you speak a lie." he put a finger to his head, then lowered it, some strange ritual he had when he was feeling ill. "a scholar? of sorts one could say. though the art of weaponry isn't unfamiliar." seraph says: ana looked up at him, his stature would seem imposing to most but she wasn't imitdated,"i was merely saying, sir..."she said in a slightly harsh tone, her voice still soft,"you do not seem the kind to weild a battle axe or boardsword.i am sorry if i have somehow insulted you,"she said finished with a small bow. freki says: dsurion's red eye color gave a flash for a second, but showed no real reaction other than that. "larger weapons are quite barbaric in any case..." he gripped some item from his belt, then turned and held it to his face, "i beg your pardon." seraph says: she blinked, leaning up alittle, standing on her tip toes,"i did not speak sir,"obviously this man is troubled in the mind, she thought to herself as she pushed a loose strand of ebony hair from her face, her eyes not leaving the man. freki says: dsurion was becoming slightly agitated from the attitude he was being given.he turned to leave but instead went back to the counter to bag his items left there, then he returned to the girl. "you don't even appear old enough to be allowed here...do you at least have a place to be staying?" seraph says: ana's brows furrowed at be questioned for her age, she was 112 but he didn't need to know that so she kept her temper,"no sir i do not have a place to rest for the night, i was planning on using the woods as my home for the evening."she said stand back on the flats of her feet, her arms crossed over her obviously womanly chest, one of the few things giving away she wasn't a child. freki says: a little questionable as to why she ignored the other part of what he said, dsurion put it off and said only the words "wait here..." and
went to the bar counter and seemed to negotiate with the innkeeper for a while, then came back. "there is a room available, for your taking if you wish it." then took up his sack of food in hand and ventured to the stairs to find the room he paid for earlier, not looking to see if the girl followed, as he figured she may or may not come and it didn't matter. he came upon a somewhat decorated room, tapestries and curtains were as though royalty to dsurion, compared to what he was accustomed to. "no matter..." he said as he went to the bed and slept. his dreams that night were of the first time a troubadour had come to his parents' home to tell tales. dsurion was six at the time, he remembered vivdly the look on their faces when dsurion, or, henry rather, as he was called at the time, showed interest in the stories told about magicians and their great deeds. he was scolded indeed that night, but only after the taleteller left. dsurion remembered an odd thing that happened that night though, from his room he heard a man calling himself oron at the door, his father answered, having toned down both of their voices, becoming barely a mutter, then he saw this man blast a bolt of flame outward towards the mountain near his old home. seraph says: ana indeed went to the room he had got for her, she saw no ill reason to down the offer.she walked sliently up the stairs that most made noises upon from the aged wood. the sounds made her cringe; also she refused to touch the banister the iron from it already making her ill-feeling as she closed her eyes and took a few deep breathes regaining her composure. once at the top of the stairs she murmured a thanks to the great queen of the dark faeires and went to the room, inspecting it seeing the man on the floor asleep. she tilted her head, not having ever seen a mortal man asleep, so she dared to step to him, her feet naught making a noise looking him over, leaning down, her hand clasping the charm from her necklace as to not hit him, amusing, she thought looking over him for a couple more minutes and got onto the bed, making a face at how the bedery was handled and decided it was best to sleep atop the covers and soon she found herself in the dreamworld, slightly curled up upon the bed her wings revealing themselves. freki says: dsurion's only physical sings of life lied within his occasional arm twitching for a while, then the innkeeper had knocked lightly, then as no one answered he opened the door lightly, but it was a tad creaky; rude though it was with a lady in the room. he roused dsurion soundlessly other than that and when he got the response of a turned head, he whispered the words, "they've come...already." "...you don't jest? i'll go then, live up to my bargain." dsurion immediately jumped straight from the floor, rushing to follow where
he was being taken, twenty or so dwarf-sized creatures appeared in the darkness outside, most appearing to have a spear in hand, or some type of makeshift sling. five of them tried to ambush dsurion, but he quickly disposed of them all with a quick unsheathing and slash of the vampyric rapier. as he attempted to put his weapon back, he was quickly struck in the back of the head with a hard rock. he swiftly turned around, his glowing red eye appeared to burn fiercely, "tsor wen jow!" he spoke the words of his spell of implosion, which was aimed as a revenge strike, and he watched as the torso of the goblin collapsed within itself. then he heard a piercing scream in the air as a small girl, no older than seven, was being dragged away by one of the foul beings. he made haste to reach them, chanting as spell along the way. as soon as dsurion stopped, he held a hand above his head and a shard of black ice ran straight through the neck of the >> goblin with the hostage, before blood started to pour out, he grabbed the girl and held her hand tightly, "stay with me, i'll not harm you, just watch my back for anything." seraph says: ana awoke at the screams, sitting up and cursing as she felt her wings out,"damnable things,"she murmured quickly forcing them back into hiding and rose from the bed going to the thickly paned window that belonged to the room and tried to peer out and couldn't.she turned quickly and raced down the stairs, into the tavern seeing the people there as she looked at them and made her way to the door only to be blocked by a burly looking man,"i am sorry little girl, but i cannot allow you out there."ana glared at the man as the room grew darker and colder,"i am not a little girl,"she said in a whisper as she moved through him and out the door, a trick she learned that took a small amount of her energy but left the man surely in shock as she looked around seeing the horrible goblins and then him holding onto the little girl's hand. she moved inhumanly to his side as she gave the child a small smirk,"give the girl to me,"she said in her soft voice, spitting on the corpse of a goblin as a disrespect for its soul. freki says: "you should not---no matter, she is yours for now, please keep her cared in my room." dsurion set down the one he had saved and sent her to walk to the other girl, "you'll be safer still, don't worry." then he turned to the other and said, "i never learned your name yet, but please hold the thought until i'm finished." as he finished speaking, two more came at him from different rooftops, dsurion started to grow bored of these meager attacks, he held out two fingers on one hand and blasted dark lightning from each fingertip. this time the rest of the little green creatures had grown angry and decided to all attack at once. all twelve of the remaining encircled
dsurion, leaving him with little option. so he used the only tactic he could possibly imagine: pull out the staff of souls and knock in a few skulls, then the rest of the plan involved running! so he executed it perfectly, "only eleven left..." then he quickly did an about face and brought his hands in front of his face, fingers spread, "idun auriole." six prisms of dark violet formed above his head, each speeding as though an arrow towards one of the foes; one remaining as a precaution of defense. seraph says: meanwhile ana had led the small girl in the patrons of the tavern quickly moving from her and the girl as she made her way back up to the room, whispers of witchery and magick murmuring through the tavern she let out a sigh of disgust, once again avoiding the iron banister and held the door to the room for the child and followed in after,"wish for a drink?"she asked not quite comfortable around kids. the girl shook her head as the climbed onto the bed and looked around,"you're a faerie,"the girl said as ana looked at her in silence,"yes..."she said simply, sitting on the bed also. freki says: dsurion's elder magic had taken care of all but a remaining three who had been slow to walk towards him. two he could take out with his staff, the other catching him at a point of weakness and recovery, a grave wound upon his weapon holding arm. eye pigment moving quickly, then slowly bright and dimmed, then he used another self pain-inflicting spell of black lightning to take care of the other. draining all available life from the creatures back, he swiftly returned to the inn holding his arm, rushing to his room. seraph says: ana yawned and was teaching the child a small nighttime spell to help keep nightmares away and even had her wings out for the girl to entertain her, a rare thing ana did, she had her back to the door as she worked her fingers in practiced swift motions a small "net" forming that glitered a dark purple,"see?"she said, her wings moving slightly by their own accord. as the girl nodded and tried her own making a smaller lighter purple version, as ana nodded her approval. freki says: dsurion came upon the door, knocked rather loudly and said the words, "please clear from the path and make sure you are decent..." in a louder tone than usual, "i need to bandage my wounds and go back out to ensure complete safety as quickly as possible." after a few seconds he opened the door and ran in grabbing some of the already ripped curtains and tightly set it upon his arm, then he seemingly collapsed to the floor, still live and stirring, though breathing heavily and shifting his arm even more. seraph says: ana raised an eyebrow as the girl peeked over the edge of the
bed,"is he dead?"she said to ana as ana copied the child's action,"i hope not... or that is the most lively corpse i have ever seen, though he is rather amusing like this,"she said a smirk on her lips, her wings opening and closing slowly,"tis alright dear sir?"she asked in a rather superior tone, trying to keep from laughing as the small girl was giggling. freki says: though somewhat amused, dsurion wasn't in any laughing mood, as he wasn't for so very long. recovering and slowing his breath rate, he'd returned to the outside without a word. scouting around for a few minutes he saw nothing but crude weaponry and small, already skeletal corpses. seeing nothing, dsurion returned ot the inn, back to the room. "taken care of." he said as he slid to the floor again. seraph says: ana raised an eyebrow,"glad to know we are safe from the corpses of goblins sir,"she said sitting on the bed her wings hidden again as she hoped he did not take notice of them before and the small girl was back to trying to make the small spell from eariler perfect.ana slid from the bed,"need help with your injuries?"she inquired eyeing him over. freki says: teaching her lesser magicks i see...one of the first i learned also, odd though it is. now did his lion's pride show, "i'll not recieve any aid, i can do just fine, after sleep," he said struggling to remain conscious. his final words before washing to the silent sea of dreams were, remain safe, both of you..." seraph says: she puffed up her cheeks,"treating me like i am a child,"she said basically pouting for a bit before taking notice the girl was already asleep,"112 and i am babysitting a crazed man and a girl,"she sighed alittle and laid on the bed, atop the covers of course drifting off to sleep, curled up as if her way of protecting herself, her own wings unfurling and wrapping slightly around her body. freki says: *time shift* seraph says: *asleep, dead as a log wrapped up in my wings the kid sitting up* freki says: dsurion had awoken around high noon the next day, still a little tired from all of his work before. he looked towards the girl sitting awake and only waved and gave no more reaction at the time, only retreated down the stairs and was congratulated much by the many in the inn. all of which gave him no special feelings. seraph says: ana woke up to the girl getting off the bed and got up following her paying no attention to the fact she had her wings out as she left the
room following a small distance behind the child and walked quietly down the stairs to the people cheering dsurion. then it started to quiet down as they gradually took notice of ana and her wings, that would move slowly stretching as she did, suppressing a yawn as she stopped her mouth covered and looked at the people gaping at her. freki says: dsurion realized what everyone was in awe of, the girl had her wings showing, just like when he woke up, then he came to her and whispered that in her ear. "quickly get barricaded in case they decide on something rash." seraph says: she blinked in confusion then glanced slowly behind her as her grey eyes widened at seeing her wings,"...sorry..."she murmured as she turned and ran quickly up the stairs, her cheeks flushed in a blush at her own studipity. she quickly made it to the room and shut the door, holding her hands out to it, her lips moving with speed as she created a barrier to protect herself, shaking with fear. freki says: as the inn patrons maintained a look of confusion, dsurion tried to comfort them all by saying things like, "she's with me," or "it was really an illusion." then he basically put up a barrier of nether energy that burned any entrants upon contact. he came to the fairy and asked to be allowed in. seraph says: ana let him in hestantily, sitting hugging her knees upon the bed, still trembling, her wings wrapping tightly around her small frame, her eyes peering from between the two black butterfly like wings, she kept reflexive curling and uncurling her toes as she kept her eyes on him,"are...are you going to harm me like you did the goblins?"she asked, in a whisper. freki says: somewhat disheartened to see her in such fear, he asked, "please for my sake do not be afraid, i shall not allow any harm anywhere to either side." he came in a bit closer, but still distanced as he knew in the situation was the better thing to do. those goblins were mindless creatures, attakcing only because they like shiny objects...you are different, i can assure that...the fact that you offered help does a great deal to prove it." seraph says: ana nodded and slowly uncurled herself from her ball and got up, making her wings disappear,"i didn't mean for them to be seen i was still half asleep..."she said her gaze on the ground looking much like a child waiting for punishment. freki says: "your actions pale in comparison to my own blunders..." dsurion saw her acting so sorrowfully, even as she stood. "please do try to cheer
up, and i still rememberd to ask your name. don't worry." seraph says: she looked up at him, and then curtised,"i am ana,"she said softly as she looked back at him where his eyes were,"now please tell me your name,"she said sounding kind. freki says: "i am called hen--no, forget that, i am called dsurion; named after the black dragon. it is a pleasure to finally know your name ana." he raised his head for once, "be honored, i've not done this for anyone for a total of seven years," and lowered his head to reveal his face, longer than shoulder length brown hair, groomed perfectly, one eye also the same brown color, the other still the glowing red seen from the hood, his face hidden through the hair until he pushed it away. for the first time in many a year, he smiled, "i'll make sure it is fine." seraph says: ana tilted her head and smiled alittle, reaching out to touch his face, humans amused her and she had never touched one though except for the little girl and now him. she ran her slender fingers over his cheeks, chin across his nose and over his eyes,"interesting..."she mused, her eyes twinkling with curiousity as she contined to explore his face with her hand and finally ran her fingers through his hair,"very interesting..." freki says: while being 'explored', dsurion tried not to move too much, so as not to scare ana. "i take it you don't see many humans around...." then he heard a yelp as one of the people tried to breach his barrier. "remain here, away from the window preferrebly." so he walked out and started to coverse and calm down everyone. seraph says: ana blinked and nodded sitting back on the bed amusing herself with a small butterfly she created herself from the shadows of the room, the small creature fluttering between her hands. she was feeling alot better now as he left to converse with the patrons. she started to hum to herself when he left, her head tilting side to side as she made another smaller butterfly appear and soon after more appear as they fluttered around the room and she let out a giggle. freki says: after about a half an hour of talk, dsurion finally got everyone back to a generally good mood and no longer confused or suspicious. so he was able to recover the barrier's damage and take it down with no fear or avail. then he returned, "all is good." seraph says: she lifted her head up to him as he entered a shadow butterfly fluttering into his face as she made them disappear,"sorry,"she said about the butterfly that went into his face,"so i am safe?"she asked sounding slightly worried.
freki says: wondering about the butterflies, but not so obviously, he said only, "they believe you to be in my own company, and therefore won't do anything as long as i am near, hopefully not afterwards either." then he walked over to the bed, not aimin got sit, just to pace around. seraph says: she watched him from the bed, and giggled, jumping off the bed and copied his pacing, smiling,"why are we pacing?"she asked being her usual playful self. freki says: letting out little more than a humorous sigh, he stopped, "i'm just thinking...that's all...just a thought..." then he broke off into low murmurs as he sank to the bed and actually did sit, too deep in thought to realize it. seraph says: she watched and waved her hand in front of his face, realizing he was indeed in deep thought then stood up straight,"well i need to go run an errand,"she tilted her head,"i shall be back shortly,"she turned and left to go to the shops to find the silk she wanted. freki says: minutes after she left, dsurion finally regained his vision and hearing and noticed ana had already gone, "blast..." he thought, "now how am i supposed to leave, the merius vallen could be anywhere by now, i really have to get it, but i can't just...oh forget it, i'll stay a day more." dsurion went back down to being praised in the tavern for a while, then went about the city, just exploring the changes since his last visit 13 years ago. seraph says: ana went to the shops looking around not taking notice she was being follow as her attention was on the amount of iron in items around her, she stayed away from guardsmen and warriors, the iron made her complextion fairer and sickly looking when she was around it too long. she had just come out a shop when a man spoke to her,"greetings little girl,"she turned and saw a man towering over her who smelt heavily of whisky and whose stature was swaying from being slightly drunk."um yes?"she asked as the man's partner grabbed her from behind and she struggled as they finally subed her by hitting her in the temple and they carried her off to the "darker" part of the town. freki says: dsurion had come back to the inn, not maintaining interest in development for long, almost nothing was familiar anymore. he went to his room, and waited for quite some time for ana to return, and he started to grow worried, and weary from anxiety of waiting. he waited still, becoming slightly more panicked, then he went to the tavern portion and asked if anyone had seen her anywhere,
recieving only bits of information, he set out to look around again, accompanied by two of the inn patrons. seraph says: ana woke up, her head throbbing surely a burise on her temple as a wave of neasea hit her and she whimpered, feeling the shackles dig into her skin as curled up. the first of the men chuckling,"it seems the little girl has awaken.."he lifted her chin with his thick finger and she looked at him with blurry vision, as her feeling of being sick got worse and she felt weaker,"unchain me please..."she said in a mere whisper as both men laughed and hauled her up by the chains as she cried out in pain, her wings pulling out and both men stared in horror then smirked to eachother,"a greater profit..."the second man said fingering the wings his hand, clumsy torn the delicate wing and she cried out again, tears streaming down her cheeks as they let her down and she laid there, breathing heavily. freki says: dsurion and the other man and woman with him had searched for hours upon end, with no results, gathering all the information possible, last seen was around the town's blacksmith, well known for illegal activity and being the most heavily drunk at almost all times. then he saw footprints, and what looked like something being dragged along the ground lightly, "cruelty..." seraph says: ana kept feeling worse, her body covered in sweat as she coughed, silver tainted blood mixing in with her spittle as she stayed curled up, trying not to cry feeling too weak to even move as she opened her eyes, now a dark grey instead of their usual silver like grey. she moved her wing to near her face and saw a decent sized tear in it and sighed, knowing it would take awhile for her to ever fly. freki says: following along the path for a while, about nightfall had dsurion found a small underground chamber, walking in he found it to be much like a dungeon; worse still though. rats and other vermin scoured about the floor, some festering with disease, other just rabid-looking. "i must cease this immediately!" seraph says: ana heard a small sound of a voice and whimpered thinking it was the men who were there eariler to do harm to her and she pressed herself as much as she could against the wall letting out a choked cry at seeing a rat scurry over her stomach. freki says: dsurions immediately locked ontot the direction of a screeching sound he heard, self-assured that it was human, then he ran towards it, getting bitten in the ankle once, though he ignored it at the time. dsurion came between a choice of three hallways to go down, completely unsure of the one to choose, he blared a light illusion to
see where he'd get a response from. seraph says: ana saw one as she was down the middle passage and sent a small single butterfly fluttering down and it faded the second it got into view for him to see it as she fell unconcious, her body struggling to keep alive from the iron in the shackles she had on for so long. freki says: "there...!" dsurion had caught but a glimpse of a butterfly, the same appeareance as ana's signature spell. dsurion rushed down the hallway, only to be ambushed by the larger of the men in the place, knocked with a very blunt object, a crude mace parhaps, on the shoulder. he found now his shoulder to be broken, but luckilty physical injury affected his spells very little, "fen rho!" dsurion used his available arm to pound into the ground, sending a boiling hot wave of darkness in every direction around him, burning off the blacksmith's shoes and part of his feet. then he took his opportunity to take a painkilling potion. seraph says: ana laid there in the darkened cell, her mind shrouded in nightmares, staying curled up, her breathing becoming shallow and gasping unaware of what was going on around her. freki says: now that he was being charged, dsurion pulled out his weaponry, the staff of souls to knock out his attacker, killing would be for later. the price dsurion payed for that was a terrible loss of blood from his wound the night before, and now he started to continue running down the hall to where ana lie, now realizing the pain in his foot and arm, but showing none of it. he bent down to her and said nothing, only thinking, "what in gaia?" seraph says: ana looked feverish, her breathing eratic as she mumbled in her unconciousness, the words not audible as her body was cool and sickly white, the area around her wrist looked scarred and blistered, bleeding slightly from the shackles. freki says: dsurion used his implosion spell upon every one of the shackles to free ana ands possibly have a chance to run, even in the poor condition they both had gotten into. he tried lifting her, but his body was too thrashed to do so, so the only alternative was to try an experimental spell of levitation he'd learned, carrying ana behind him in the air as he slowly walked away from the foul place, starting to feel weaker and weaker with each step, walking slower and slower... seraph says: ana's condition started to gradually get better from being freed of the shackles, her breathing started to go back to normal as she
hovered in the air still unaware of anything around her. her skin still hadn't got back to it normal palor but it would soon enough as she murmured still random things in her sleep his name escaping her lips as she still spoke in the forgien tongue. freki says: dsurion's spells and injuries had taken their tolls by the time he reached the entrance, he lowered ana slowly to the ground, then fell, unmoving, in fact, the only movement around him besides ana was a black electrical current running around his body, a protective spell automated in such a situation that requires little to no energy for mages of his caliber, but even breath was not visible. seraph says: ana slept for a good while and jolted awake letting out a cry as she sat up, imediately regretting it as her head throbbed and she held it looking around, thinking she would still be in the dreaded cell but realized she was outside as she let out a cry of joy then took noticed od dsurion and looked over his body taking note of his injuries but knew better than to touch him cause she also noticed the current around so she sat there, getting her head to stop throbbing as she took care to inspect her damaged wing closer, wondering how he found her and got her out. freki says: hours of physical inactivity had dsurion gone through, though eventually, he uttered partial words, "mo...mot..mother..." but fell into silence again. a short while later, a spark had run through dsurion's left shoulder, the injured one, causing him to let out a fevered yelp, but it was in fact a sing that he was healing, painful as it was, but after theat, he was inactive again, seraph says: ana jumped at his yelp and turned quickly looking over him worried, she was alittle curious why he uttered 'mother' but wasn't going to bother with that, she looked over his body worried,"damnable mages..."she said with disgust, shaking her head a smile curling on her lips. freki says: dsurion, with more time regained ability to be conscious, aware of what was going on, his forst words were very playful, "what did we ever do to you?" he sat up, wobbling a little, but regaining composure. "what was all that about though?" seraph says: she giggled, and stuck out her tongue, as she he sat up,"oh nothing,"she said her back to him as she looked around, so he wouldn't she her trying not to laugh, seeing his hood had fallen back and his hair was messed up. freki says: "your wing...it's, clipped slightly!" with that he slowly reached into
his belt underneath the robe, and took out a vial, a regeneration elixir, for various non-human types. please do drink that, and, while you're at it, find something for yourself to eat from withing this mess," he said as he took out his pack of untouched food from the tavern last night. seraph says: she took the vial and inspected the bottle before opening it and took a whif as she leaned her head back drinking it then made a face,"my gods that is awful,"she said as she eyed the food her stomach deciding it wanted to growled and did as she blushed and took a roll eating it slowly though she was starving, she would not eat like a pig in front of him,"um dsurion your hood..."she pointed at his head, where his hood should be, her roll in her mouth so her words were muffled. freki says: "ugh, i forgot..." he was about to slowly pull up his hood, but decided it was better not to strain either arm. he gave a bit of a chuckle as he quickly shook his head backwards to allow the hood to fall to his back. "i'm safe to leave it down here. ...i didn't happen to do or say anything odd or radical while i was out, did i?" seraph says: she smirked and decided to play with him alittle,"oh yes you did, you proclaimed your love for me several times,"she said sounding serious though she was smiling. freki says: a look of suspicion arose on his face, "surely you jest." he said as he picked up a leaf from the ground and tossed it in ana's direction. "i need to figure out how to leave here though, we are not entirely safe..." seraph says: she smiled,"all you did was utter your mother's name and then yelp which scared me!"she said crossing her arms over her chest looking at him sternly. she then shrugged,"i usually wander around, i have no where to go,"she said with a dismissive wave of a hand. freki says: "mother...that's one of the drawbacks of..." he seemed like he was going into a deep thought again, but quickly followed up with, "she's gone, twas a nightmare." he finally gathered the courage to try and stand, which he did, stating that he was only strecthing his limbs. "so do you wish to rest longer?" seraph says: "no i am alright,"she stands up still alittle weak but didn't show it as she looked around,"so where to?"she asked hiding her wings again so she resembled a human and swayed in her spot the simple spell taking alot out of her since she was 100% yet.
freki says: "well, aside from that inn, i've had an aim as to where to go, but i've no way to get there. searching for an object of my master, able to thwart the forces of wind. i'll need to slow my intended pace, but i must still press on to get there." dsurion started to crack his neck and back as he spoke, "you're welcome to follow if you truly wish." seraph says: "alright,"she smiled and tilted her head joking with him,"but you know in your slumber i think i did hear a small proclamation of love for yours truly,"she giggled,"do we need to get anything before we depart." freki says: dsurion only jokingly said a word in his language of spells, "fisrthen," a light puff of wind blew at ana's face. "i personally don't need anything, but if you need to get anything from the town, be welcomed to, but i'm going with you this time." seraph says: she stuck out her tongue,"thanks for the breeze," shr then nodded and smiled, relieved he offered,"no i have all i need,"she stretched.
