Introduction
This document describes the installation procedures of MLCBB version 3.4.0. It is essential that the system requirements have been fulfilled prior any onsite installation of MLCBB version 3.4. This installation includes the following patches: MLCBB_P001A MLCBB_P001B MLCBB_P002 MLCBB_R003 MLCBB_R331 MLCBB_R340 Minimum requirement for this installer as follows: Drive C -> Free space of 2GB Windows 2003 Server (Regional Set as United States) This installer only applicable to GENERIC, Hilton, Starwood and All Marriott Properties. NOTE: This installer can only work with Windows 2003 Server. For server running windows 2000 and below, please proceed to install from MLCBB_v3.0.exe

1 System Overview
MLCBB version 3.4 is a web-based Internet broadband management solution that caters the needs of hospitality industrial. It offers a wide range of functionalities for individual hotel property to manage different types of billing options, gateway bandwidth management, intuitive user interfaces and guest services. Different types of billing options supported - standard guest rooms, prepaid public wireless, postpaid business center, prepaid business center, conference rooms and guest apartments Ability to management bandwidth in individual locations from web-based management console Selection of different language preferences from user interface Integration of folio review, guest messaging and in-room printing services Creation of customized Menu Links and Hyperlinks in the welcome pages Enhanced database security and reliability using Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Tiered Bandwidth capability Guest Type (using MagiNet Enhanced Protocol) to allow special price for certain guests Flexibility to create more than one package within the same modules, e.g. Guest Room, Wireless, Conference Combine page (2-in-1 page) to allow guest to select the authentication method they preferred. This will only work between Non-Vlan/Non-Vlan2 and Prepaid/Public wireless modules.

2 Installation Procedures
1. Ensure all the minimum system requirements have been fulfilled prior the installation. 2. Double-click setup.exe from [MLCBB_Setup] folder to start the installation for MLCBB_340_Full_Generic Setup.exe files.

3. Click [Next >] to proceed with the installation.

4. Click [Install] to install the files into the default directory structure. Note: This process might take a while

6. Select languages that needs to be enabled

7. Click [Finish] to complete the installation.

8. Start MLCBBThread (Programs->Startup->MLCBBThread), then right-click->Open on Database Connection Configuration. Keyed-in the SQL Server password that has been setup earlier on then click on Save. Do NOT start the MLCBBThread as the hotel entry is needed for MLCBBThread to run properly Note: Ignore the error as of now

9. Go to Start->MLCBB->MLCBB Management to setup Hotel. Please read the TN0012MLCBB_v3.0_Configuration Guide.doc on how to setup a new Hotel.

10. Go to [Control Panel] -> [Administrative Tools] -> Services, then find [MLCBB Remoting], right click -> Run

11. Open up the MLCBBThread (it should be in the tray manager) then click on Task -> Reload.

You should see the thread running with message Thread is running as per diagram below.

12. Enable AAA service in AG5000/AG5500. 13. The installation is completed.
