Project Undertaken Title Anti-Oxidant and Anti-Mutagenic Activities of Ethanol Extract Of Clerodendrum phlomidis L Bark

Synopsis This was done by using four models; three for investigating anti oxidant activity which included Superoxide Anion Model, DPPH Free Radical Model and Lipid Per Oxidation Inhibition Activity, and one for investigating anti Mutagenic activity which included Chromosomal Aberration Test. Conducted phytochemical investigation on Clerodendrum phlomidis L barks extract to know the active constituents present in the plant, responsible for the present activity.
