Designation: Associate Financial Modeller Salary Package: 2.

4 lakhs per annum (take home is 20,000/- month) and 2 lakhs per annum as Medical Insurance Job Description (Responsibilities): The job involves becoming a part of the F1F9 modeling team. Expert tuition will be provided in the FAST financial modeling standard, which is a market leading technology in the production of long term budgeting models. As well as mastering FAST you will also be required to learn the financing concepts underpinning project finance transactions. From an early stage in your career you will be applying your new skills in the team, building financial models and help in forecasting. These will include: 1. Analyse and interpret the Client’s modelling requirement, in part through reviewing the Client’s pre-existing model. In collaboration with the Client, develop and clarify the new model specification (or upgrade specification for the old model). 2. To the agreed specification and using Microsoft Excel, build and maintain a 100% bespoke financial model in accordance with the FAST modelling standard. 3. Undertake quality control on other team member (and Client) models using a range of proprietary and third party model audit software. 4. Communicate frequently and effectively with the Client through the modelling process, both verbally and in writing. 5. Travel abroad to provide onsite Client support as and when required. 6. Participate proactively in organisational development initiatives, including sharing knowledge with colleagues. Desired Profile (Candidate Profile / Minimum Skills Required) • • • • • • • • • Natural numerical and mathematical aptitude Solid theoretical foundation in finance, in particular financial evaluation methods Solid theoretical foundation in accounting, in particular financial statements and their interrelationship (P&L, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet) Knowledge of basic Excel functionality and Functions While financial modelling experience is not required, experience of management accounting, business analysis, and computer programming is an advantage Ability to learn quickly and effectively Strong analytical and reasoning skills Ability to think laterally, creatively, and out-of-box Ability to break complex problems in to smaller manageable challenges
