WORK & ORGANIZING EXPERIENCE Caffeinated Communications Network/RightSpeak United States/Online Economic and European analyst Since January 2011 ● I am writing economic analysis for two blogs called Caffeinated Thoughts (part of Caffeinated Communications Network) and RightSpeak. I publish on average one post per week, analyzing diverse economic, financial and political issues such as the Eurozone crisis, the possibility of a double-dip recession and whether the financial industry needs more regulation. Breakaway Lettings United Kingdom/Online Business/marketing research analyst January – March 2008 ● Took the initiative to and led a project with the aim to expand the company to Sweden. Breakaway lettings was a company dealing with bringing vacation home owners and those who sought to rent a vacation home together through their website. Did SWOT analysis, cold called and –emailed companies in the vacation home industry, worked with creating a Swedish version of the company’s website etc. Investment competition Sweden Organizer November 2007 – May 2008 ● Arranged a financial investment competition at my high school. Students were asked to “invest” imaginary money in real mutual funds; they were allowed to change their investments once a month. My job was to write monthly reports advising them on where to invest.
