Motion to extend by 5 minutes by Remo seconded by Yllana Q&A o Agatep: All this to be sent in AOB Classes suspension announcement to be included in ASCC o Sison: For CAA especially, if the concern is regarding a faculty member, kindly write which department the faculty belongs to in order to save time for CAA o Fe: What if the concern is long term? A: Process is still the same, the person will be informed o Yllana: There is an FAQ in the website, they can go to that first before they go straight submit to ASCC o Note: One person from ASCC will be assigned to each Sanggu member for the entire semester
3) CAS Report re TODA courtesy Call c/o Alwyn 10 mins TODA has two groups Agenda of the meeting o Safety and security of the students and the agreements with the past Sanggunian administration (Omi’s time)
TODA doesn’t have enough budget to replace their batteries right now However, FMO and Sanggu agreed that they will be issuing stickers for them for now, but come September, they have to replace the old batteries already in order to be allowed inside the campus Sticker issues Drivers with good conduct to be given priority, meaning to be given stickers first New Drivers will be on probation Last to be given are the drivers with Sanctions from the years before TODA request that we report to them violations and sanctions of tricycle drivers Proposed matrix They were open to changing this because the old matrix confuses them “Nakasanayan lang” that’s why they charge higher and also because of increased gas prices They suggested that we make a standardized matrix but this is hard to do so we have to look into it first Standard of 15 inside and 21 outside they want a simpler version of the tricycle matrix Unfair treatment to the tricycle drivers Reports from tricycle drivers: guards sanction them right away when the cars who have violations are not given warnings and sanctions immediately Students specifically from ARSA do not treat them fairly (rude treatment). Some cases reported: There are students calling up tricycle drivers to service them but don’t show up Students who say they’ll go inside the dorm to get money but never come back Why do they charge extra during rainy seasons? Chua: That’s actually not allowed according to TODA, so anyone who experiences this must report to us as this is a violation. Other updates: Target of TODA is to have 4 stroke engines than the 2 stroke engines used now because it is cleaner Also, they have E-trikes now but it’s a bit more expensive Q&A: Lucero:
Right now, it’s hard to monitor the trike matrix, how can we justify and make sure that it is properly monitored?
Remo: What does it mean to be on probation? o Chua: If you commit a violation, there is a sanction given right away o Chua: “Mas tutok lang ang ibig sabihin”
o o o o o
Alejo: What is the timeline to finish and present to TODA Chua: Right now, we’re still getting the costs from them Yllana: They already proposed a new price but it hasn’t been approved yet by government Albiento: Are they going to sanction the student? Chua: It depends on ADSA (maybe through reprimand) Villamin: Isn’t it that we can’t register tricycles with two stroke engines in LTO anymore? Chua: It’s still being registered at present Villamin: You have to look at that because it means their operations are illegal if it’s being approved Abante: What are the disciplinary sanctions that should be imposed by ADSA? Make clear this please! Sison: What are you doing to monitor the misdemeanor of trike drivers? Chua: Guards are doing the monitoring and it’s really quite strict right now. For any misconduct by the drivers, It’s up to the students to report. Students then should be informed as well of what not to do. Borlagdan: Suggestion: Include the reporting of violations with ASCC Suggestion: Can sanggu closely coordinate with HEC (Eljohn Yee) for this? Alejo: this should be made public! Gaisano: What matrix are you proposing? Chua: The more simple but fair one Agatep:
When releasing the matrix, make a big map of the school and show the distance so students know how much to pay the tricycles
Eljohn: The Matrix was a city ordinance. Having constant rate to be charged is better because there are specific points in school that tricycles have to go to anyway. Abante: Would it be better to have an infogram? Try to explore this possibility.
Motion to adopt the report by Elicaño seconded by Yllana Report has been adopted. 4) Cap Cost resolution c/o Steph 10 mins Resolution focuses on the following changes in cost: 60 pesos for breakfast(6-8am) 80 pesos for Lunch (11-1pm) and Dinner (6 onwards) This budget for food will not be applicable for SB plenaries, Execom Meeting, and CB meetings o This is because this is not an appropriate for reward for officers to attend the meetings P100 for food was taken out of the resolution Q&A o Allerano: How do you define food? Food itself which includes the container o Lucero: What if there are external constituents (other students) during plenaries? Snacks can still be given Motion for Resolution on Cap Costs to be approved by Agatep seconded by Remo YES-14 Gio Alejo Ian Agatep Steph Gumaru Alwyn Chua Alvin Yllana Joben Odulio Cheth Mundin Charm Chan Cate Sison Moses Albiento NO

And, because there will be NSTP. That’s why this is the time frame. Albiento: is this the total number of expected attendees as of now? o A: Yes Remo: Wouldn’t it be better to adjust the time to accommodate those who are going to be late? o Elicaño: We can’t, because NSTP is two batches so it’s hard to adjust Dumaliang: What is the content of the training? o A: Technical skills training o SOH Plenaries (Aug to Sept): P3,600 Gumaru: Is it sure that there will be 30 participants? o A: Yes o Total budget: P8400 Motion to approve total SOH budget by Alejo, seconded by Sison. A: We’ll ask them! o Abante: can we give the dodgeballs to be bought to DSLD? A: Balls will be kept by Sanggu o Albiento: Can’t we have a stock list of the stuff that we have and have it rented to the students?
