MANPOWER STRENGTH OF THE COMPANY : General office Laboratory Stores Production department Packing department Injection department Maintenance House keeping Total SWOT Analysis: STRENGHT: 1) Company having WHO, GMP& ISO-9002 registration and adopting best quality control techniques. 2) MAAN PHARMA has advantage of lower conversion cost as compare to the big multinationals/ 3) Company manufacturing life saving drugs on which sales tax and excise is levied. Big corporate engaged in this line, but they are not manufacturing life saving drugs in sizable quantity. Here MAAN PHARMA have upper hand and can better product mix to their client. WEAKNESS: 1) MAAN PHARMA LTD. not having their own R&D department. OPPORTUNITY: 1) Company's market is expanded from India to Foreign Countries. 2) Company received sales tax exemption form the Govt. of Gujarat. Because of this product at a better rate as compared to other competitors. Because of this they can have upper hand to quote at Govt. tender. THREATS: 1) Company has to face competition from the other local companies like TORRENT, INTAS, CADILA, LINKON etc. apart from the above company they face competition from the multinational companies. CONCLUSION The company started in small scale and become the largest company by its good performance. The company has proven that "Every thing is possible if all the work is done in right manner," MAAN PHARMA not to work for profit but it provides good product to Doctors, Chemist, and Customers etc. at a reasonable price. MAAN PHARMA also takes care of nature at DEDIYASAN PLANT (Mehsana). I have found no type of pollution.
