Mini-Book Who Lives in the Arctic?

2011 Created by A. Whiteley Who Lives in the Artic? is a DRA level 2 or Fountas and Pinnell B written by Susan Canizares. This mini-book was designed to help children boost comprehension skills, expand vocabulary, and learn important concepts about nonfiction topics such as neighborhood and community, families, transportation, animal homes, plants and seeds, weather, and more. The little book has supportive illustrations that encourage young children to become successful, independent, and fluent readers

Assembling Directions 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Make a double-sided copy of the mini-book pages. Cut the page in half along the dotted line. Fold the front/back cover page in half, taking care to line up the corners. Fold the remaining book pages in half. Place in order (title page, 3, 5, 7, 9 and so on). Insert the stack of pages into the cover so that the loose edges are tucked into the fold of the cover. Staple along the left edge of the now folded front page.
