(Bagaimana cara mengetik Hanguk Mal di Komputermu)

You dont need to download or install any kind of software. Actually, Windows (if you are using Windows Operating System) itself already provide this. All you need to do is to activate it. But to do this, you will need to provide your Windows XP installer CD, and you will have to log in as Administrator. Here, Ill explain to you how to activate this feature, but the example I give will valid only for Windows XP. For Windows Vista or Windows 7, the steps maybe less similar. Kamu tidak perlu mendownload atau menginstall software tertentu untuk hal ini. Sebenarnya, Windows (Jika kamu menggunakan sistem operasi Windows di komputermu) sendiri sudah menyediakan fitur untuk ini. Yang perlu kamu lakukan adalah mengaktifkannya. Untuk mengaktifkannya, kamu perlu CD installer Windows XP, and log in sebagai Administrator. Disini, akan saya jelaskan bagaimana mengaktifkan fitur ini, hanya contoh disini, hanya valid untuk Windows XP. Untuk Windows Vista atau Windows 7, langkah-langkahnya mungkin kurang lebih sama. Ill try to explain the steps here, as detail as possible. Since, I know that mostly you are not computer-IT-geek like me. Hehehe. Saya akan coba untuk menjelaskan langkah-langkahnya disini, sedetail mungkin. Soale saya tahu, bahwa sebagian besar dari kamu mungkin bukan kutu-komputer seperti sayaHehehehe.

1. Its better for you to insert your Windows XP CD installation in your CD/DVD drive now. Adalah lebih baik untuk kamu memasukkan installer CD Windows XP ke drive CD/DVD mu sekarang. 2. Go to Start -> Control Panel. Klik Start -> Control Panel.

3. Go to Start -> Choose icon Regional and Language Options. Double click it. Pilih ikon Regional and Language Options. Klik dua kali.

4. After you double click, there will be Regional and Language Options dialog box. Setelah diklik, akan ada kotak Regional and Language Options.

5. Choose tab Languages Pilih tab Languages

6. Normally you will see, in Supplemental Language Support, there are two unchecked checkboxes. All you need to do is check the Install files for East Asian languages. Biasanya kamu akan melihat di Supplemental Language Support, ada dua checkbox yang belum di-check. Yang perlu kamu lakukan adalah men-check Install files for East

Asian languages.

There maybe or maybe not notification such as the image above. If there is no notification, dont worry, everything is still under control. Click OK to the notification. And click OK once more to close the Regional and Language Options dialog box. Mungkin akan muncul atau tidak muncul notifikasi seperti gambar diatas. Jika tidak ada notifikasi, jangan khawatir, semuanya masih dalam kendali. Klik OK pada notifikasi. Dan klik OK sekali lagi untuk menutup kotak Regional and Language Options. 7. There will be copying process, like the image below. Akan muncul proses pengkopian seperti gambar berikut.

If you havent insert your Windows XP installer CD, you will face a error dialog box like this one. Jika kamu belum memasukkan CD installer Windows XP mu, kamu akan dihadapkan ke kotak error seperti berikut.

8. During the copying process, sometimes you will see a dialog box asking you to choose the correct file. File like _XDLBBG. (Just file name example, it doesnt have to be the same though). You will have to direct them to the right folder in your Windows XP installer CD by just clicking Browse button. If you see in your Windows XP installer CD, there will be folder I386. Mostly file that you need during copying process is in that folder. (Sorry, I dont have the image, since this doesnt happen in my installation process, hehehe)

Selama proses pengkopian, kadang-kadang kamu akan dihadapkan pada sebuah kotak yang menanyakanmu memilih file yang benar. File seperti _XDLBBG. (Hanya contoh nama file, tidak harus persis sama). Kamu harus mengarahkannya ke folder yang benar di CD installer Windows XP-mu, hanya dengan menekan tombol Browse. Jika kamu melihat dalam CD installer Windows XP-mu, akan ada folder I386. Umumnya, file yang kamu butuhkan untuk proses pengkopian ada di folder tersebut. (Maaf, saya tidak sertakan gambarnya disini, sebab saya tidak pernah mengalaminya dalam proses instalasi, hehehe) Please remarks that if the installer CD is different from the one that you use to install your current operating system Windows XP, eventhough you have direct it to the right folder and the right file, the copying process may still ask for the same file again and again. Why is it so? Because it recognizes that eventhough the file name is same, but they are different installer CD. (Damn, Windows XP, been there done that already). If you are experiencing this kind of problem, I am so sorry, since I have no solution for this kind of problem. The only solution I can think of now is to re-install your Windows XP, and start fresh. Hehehe.;) I know it is a stupid solution, but maybe later, when my degree in computer geekiness is increasing by 1 level, Ill find out perfect solution for this. Harap diperhatikan bahwa jika CD installer yang kamu gunakan berbeda dengan CD yang kamu gunakan saat meng-install sistem operasi Windows XP-mu yang sekarang, walaupun kamu telah mengarahkannya ke folder yang benar dan file yang benar, proses pengkopian masih akan terus-menerus menanyakan file yang sama. Mengapa hal ini bisa terjadi? Karena sistem operasinya mengenali bahwa walaupun nama file-nya sama, namun file-nya sendiri berasal dari dua CD installer yang berbeda. (Sialnya Windows XP, saya pernah mengalaminya juga). Jika kamu mengalami hal seperti ini. Saya minta maaf, sebab saya tidak memiliki solusi untuk masalah seperti ini. Satu-satunya solusi yang dapat saya pikirkan saat ini adalah meng-install ulang Windows XP-mu, dan memulai baru. Hehehe;) Saya tahu ini adalah solusi yang bodoh, tapi mungkin suatu saat nanti, saat derajat saya dalam dunia perkomputeran meningkat 1 level, saya akan dapat memberikan solusi yang tepat untuk masalah ini. 9. After that you may need to restart your computer. Setelah itu, kamu perlu me-restart komputermu. 10. After you restart your computer, now, your computer has feature to understand east asian languages. Congratulations! But oops, you still need several steps to utilize your koreanfont language typing in your own computer. Setelah kamu me-restart komputermu, sekarang, komputermu sudah memiliki fitur untuk mengerti bahasa-bahasa asia timur. Selamat! Tapi..ups, kamu masih perlu menjalankan beberapa langkah untuk memungkinkanmu mengetik huruf Korea dikomputermu. Your computer now understands the language, but it doesnt recognize Korean keyboard as the input device. Have no fear!!! Because its so easy to set up your normal-keyboard into Korean-keyboard one. You dont need to go to Seoul just to buy Korean-keyboard.

Hehehe..;) Komputermu sekarang mengerti bahasanya, namun masih belum mengenali masukan huruf Korea dari keyboard Korea. Jangan takut!!! Karena sangat mudah untuk mengatur keyboardmu yang saat ini normal untuk menjadi keyboard-Korean. Kamu tidak perlu jauh-jauh pergi ke Seoul hanya untuk membeli keyboard Korea. Hehehe..;) 11. Repeat step 2, 3, 4 and 5. Ulangi langkah 2, 3, 4 dan 5. 12. Click button Details. Klik tombol Details.

You will see Text Services and Input Languages dialog box like the image below. Kamu akan melihat kotak Text Services and Input Languages seperti gambar dibawah ini.

13. By default, your computer input language is English (United States) US. You will need to add new input services, so that you can input korean font. Click button Add Pada awalnya, bahasa masukan komputermu adalah English (United States) US. Kamu perlu menambahkan servis masukan baru, agar kamu bisa memasukkan huruf Korea. Klik tombol Add.

14. You will see Add Input Language dialogue box. Choose Korean from dropdownlist. Kamu akan melihat kotak Add Input Language. Pilih Korean dari daftar.

15. Check the checkbox Keyboard layout/IME, and choose Korean. Click OK. Klik checkbox Keyboard layout/IME, dan pilih Korean. Klik OK.

16. You will see in Korean language part, the keyboard part is now has Korean. You need to add Korean Input System (IME 2002) too. Kamu akan melihat di bagian bahasa Korean, bagian keyboard-nya sekarang memiliki nilai Korean. Kamu perlu juga menambahkan Korean Input System (IME 2002).

17. Now, your computer recognize korean font as the input (Woohooo!!!..:) ) . But how can you tell your computer when you type on your keyboard, you want to type korean font. This is where the position Language Bar. Sekarang komputermu sudah dapat mengenali huruf Korea sebagai masukan (Woohooo!!!..:) ) . Namun bagaimana kamu memberitahu komputermu saat kamu sedang mengetik keyboardmu, kamu ingin mengetik dalam huruf Korea. Disinilah gunanya Language Bar. 18. How to activate your Language Bar, so that you can switch easily between typing Latin font or Korean font. Bagaimana cara mengaktifkan Language Bar-mu, agar kamu bisa mengubah dengan mudah antara mengetik huruf Latin atau huruf Korea. 19. Right click in your taskbar. You know taskbarthe blue line where the Start button are located. Choose menu Toolbars -> Language Bar. Klik kanan di taskbar-mu. Tahu kan taskbargaris biru dimana ada tombol Start-nya. Pilih menu Toolbars -> Language Bar.

20. You may find your Language Bar in minimize mode in the right of the taskbar. Kamu mungkin akan menemukan Language Bar di sebelah kanan taskbar.

21. Click on the Restore to see your Language Bar in full mode. Klik pada tombol Restore untuk melihat Language Bar dalam mode penuh.

22. Then you will see, your Language Bar in full-mode. By default, your input mode will be EN English (United States). Kamu akan melihat Language Bar-mu dalam mode penuh. Awalnya, mode masukan komputermu adalah EN English (United States).

23. Click on the language to choose different input. You will see there are two input services. KO for Korean, and EN for English. Choose Korean. Klik pada bahasanya untuk memilih jenis masukan yang berbeda. Kamu akan melihat ada dua jenis layanan masukan. KO untuk Korean, dan EN untuk English. Pilih Korean.

24. Now, your language bar is different, right?

If your language bar looks slightly different

from the image below, no worries. Your language bar will adjust to what active window in your computer. The image below should be displayed when you activate your Office Ms.Word window. Sekarang, language bar-mu terlihat berbeda bukan? Jika language bar-mu terlihat sedikit berbeda dengan gambar dibawahmu, jangan khawatir. Language bar-mu akan menyesuaikan dengan window yang aktif di komputermu. Gambar dibawah ini akan ditampilkan jika kamu mengaktifkan window Office MS.Word.

25. Holla.. Youve succeeded. Wooohooo!!!! Ill explain to you three most important controls in this language bar. Holla.. Kamu berhasil. Woohoo!!! Saya akan jelaskan tiga hal yang paling penting di language bar ini.

26. If you want to type in font-Korean mode, just click the third, it will change into something like the image below. Jika kamu ingin mengetik dalam huruf-Korea, cukup klik tombol ketiga, dan language bar mu akan berubah menjadi seperti gambar berikut.

27. Now you can type like this in your Ms.Word or even your browser. Sekarang kamu bisa mengetik seperti berikut ini di Ms.Word-mu atau bahkan di browsermu.

If you want to change again into the Latin input language from your keyboard, then just click back the button. Jika kamu ingin mengubah kembali ke masukan bahasa Latin dari keyboardmu, cukup klik kembali tombol tersebut. 29. You can easily change mode between these Latin-font input mode and Korean-font input

mode. You can set them up in Key Settings. Repeat step 2, 3, 4, 5, and 12. Or by rightclicking on your language bar, and choose menu Settings. Kamu bisa dengan mudah mengubah mode antara masukan huruf Latin dan huruf Korea. Kamu bisa mengaturnya di Key Settings. Ulangi langkah 2, 3, 4, 5, dan 12. Atau dengan klik kanan di language bar-mu dan pilih menu Settings.

30. In this Advanced Key Settings, you can set how you would like to change between typing mode. Pada Advanced Key Settings, kamu bisa mengatur bagaimana kamu ingin mengubah antara mode pengetikan.

31. Notes: To type aspirated fonts, like , , , all you need to do is to press Shift button and the appropriate keyboard button. Untuk memperoleh penekanan huruf, seperti , , , yang perlu kamu lakukan adalah menekan tombol Shift dan tombol huruf keyboard yang diinginkan. The image below is the image of what Korean keyboard suppose to look like. Gambar dibawah ini adalah gambar bagaimana seharusnya keyboard Korea terlihat.

With a little creativity, you can decorate your keyboard to mark Korean font. All you need are label or white paper and glue or cellophane tape. And now you know which font are in which button of your previously-normal-keyboard. Hehehe;) The image below is my pc-keyboard, and my netbook keyboard. Dengan sedikit kreativitas, kamu bisa menghias keyboardmu dengan huruf Korea. Semua yang kamu butuhkan hanya kertas penempel label nama atau kertas putih dan lem atau selotip. Dan sekarang kamu tahu huruf yang mana terletak pada tombol yang mana di keyboard-mu-yang-sebelumnya-normal. Hehehe;) Gambar dibawah ini merupakan gambar keyboard-pc dan keyboard-netbook.
