We are delighted you will be attending the Government’s inaugural International Investment Summit 2024 on Monday 14 October. The Summit will take place in the

City of London

. We are unable to reveal the exact location due to security restrictions. This will be shared with all delegates on Thursday. The event is jointly hosted by the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, the Rt Hon Sir Keir Starmer KCB KC MP, the Rt Hon Rachel Reeves MP, Chancellor of the Exchequer and the Rt Hon Jonathan Reynolds MP, Secretary of State for Business and Trade and President of the Board of Trade. The Summit will convene like-minded senior leaders from the global business and investment community with government to showcase the UK’s promise to supercharge economic growth across the country. THE SUMMIT

 Across the event there will be sessions in plenary on this Government’s vision for the UK and mission to grow the economy, as well as smaller interactive breakout sessions with Ministers and peers. These will cover subjects such as: investment opportunities arising from the decarbonising of our electricity grid; health tech and AI in the UK and how our unique datasets present an opportunity to revolutionise care; reflections on investing in a more uncertain world – and the UK's plan to reap a stability dividend.

THE EVENING RECEPTION

The Summit will close with an exclusive one-of-a-kind reception, held at an iconic London location, showcasing the very best of British food, drink, talent and culture.We will share details of the evening reception, including venue, with guests later this week. Secure transport to the evening reception will be provided. The total journey time will be c.10 minutes.

To obtain a vehicle access pass please email your vehicle

registration to

 summit2024@businessandtrade.gov.uk  by

Midday Friday 11 October

. Your guest vehicle access pass will be sent to you via email. If you do not know your vehicle registration for the day of the Summit or do not notify us in advance, you will be asked to disembark at the perimeter and enter on foot. Please show your vehicle access pass to security at the gate and follow instructions to proceed through a vehicle check and into the secure zone. Cars will not be permitted to park at the venue. There is very limited parking which is reserved for guests with accessibility requirements. If you require this, please contact the Summit delivery team at summit2024@businessandtrade.gov.uk .
