Ang mga may kakayahang magpaaral ng labing apat na taon hanggang kolehiyo ang may mga anak na may magagandang trabaho pagkatapos ng kanilang pagiaaral. Nais ko ng labingdalawang (12) taong pag-aaral ng mga kabataan sa pampublikong paaralan upang mabigyan sila ng sapat na pagkakataon na magtagumpay. -PAngulong Benigno S. Kaya , kinakailangang makapagmungkahi ng isang hakbanging sa paraan na hindi makakasira sa kasalukuyang kurikulum, higit na angkop sa pinansiyal na kakayahan ng gobyerno at bawat pamilyang Pilipino, at naayon sa internasyonal na pamamaraan. 2. Ang mababang antas ng kalidad ng edukasyon ay masasalamin sa mababang puntos na nakukuha ng mga mag-aaral sa mg achievement test. Maliwanag itong naipahahayag sa mga resulta ng NAT sa elementary at sekundarya. 3. Ang mga internasyunal na pasulit tulad ng 2003 TIMSS( Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study) lumalabas na ika-34 ang Pilipinas mula sa 38 na bansang kumuha ng pasulit. Noong 2008 kahit ang magagaling na estudyante lamang mula sa Science high school ang pinakuha ng pasulit lumabas pa rin ang resultang ang Pilipinas ay nasa pinakamababang pwesto. 4. Ang Kurikulum ng Pilipinas na dapat ay maisagawa sa loob ng 12 na taon ay isinasagawa lamang sa loob ng 10 taon. 5. Ang ganitong pamamaraan ay sumasalamin sa kawalan ng sapat na preparasyon ng mga haskul na mag aaral para sa pangmalawakang hamon ng trabaho at pagnenegosyo. Wala

Ayon sa mga pangangailangang inilahad ang pagbibigay ng prayoridad ng pangulo na maisulong ng Department of education ang mga hakbangin upang mapaunlad ang kurikulum ng basic education . 11. Ang pinaunlad na K+12 Education Program ay naglalayong makapagdulot ng 12 na taong pag aaral na may kalidad at makatutugon sa kinakailangang kahandaan ng mga magsisipagtapos sa pagharap sa mas seryoso at mataas na antas ng pag iisip.
