"Yada Yada Hi Dharmasya Glanirva Bhavathi Bharatha, Abhyuthanam Adharmaysya Tadatmanam Srijami Aham'.

Bhagavad Gita (Chapter IV-7)

"Whenever there is decay of righteousness O! Bharatha And a rise of unrighteousness then I manifest Myself!"

A highly elevated soul is going to descend on the holy land of Maa Bharati and will benefit not 1 but 3 centuries. I can see the revival of Satyuga days because of the efforts of that Param yogi-Maharshi Aurbindo.

In a few years from now a Gayatri upasak is coming and he will change the course of the world, he will bring the biggest revolution in the history of the mankind and will bring back the golden days --

Swami Vivekananda

27th September, 1911, in a small village near Agra called Anwalkheda; the Supreme Divinity reincarnated in the human form on this holy land of India in the premises of Pt. Roopkishore Sharma & Mata Dankunwari devi

The name was Shriram

As a child, Shriram had intense inclination towards spiritual endeavors from childhood.

Deep attachment toward the majestic Himalayas. Creative thinking Belief in Self-reliance, Self sufficiency.

As a child, he always displayed extreme love and sympathy for depressed, downtrodden and the untouchables. Immense Love and dedication for humans (Attended, nursed and served an old ailing Harijan woman despite opposition by family members and the high society he belonged to)

At the age of 15- Self-realization on Basant Panchanmi Parva 1926, he experienced the subtle presence of his divine guide Swami Sarveshwaranandaji, an ageless yogi living in Himalayas in subtle body. Spiritual master bestowed knowledge about Shri Rams past births and explained the purpose behind this birth.

Received five directives:1. Perform 24 Purashcharnas (2.4 million chants of Gayatri Mantra) to acquire intense spiritual power. Barley bread and cows butter-milk to be the only diet. 2. Keep Akhand-Deep (a lamp) constantly lighted 3. Undertake journeys to the Himalayas for higher levels of spiritual sadhana and guidance for future activities. 4. Synergize science with spirituality 5. Consider married life like a sacred hermitage and establish its utility to attain higher spiritual elevation.

As a freedom fighter he actively participated in the Freedom Fight on Mahatma Gandhi jis call. He joined Indian National Congress volunteers camp despite strong opposition of family members and relatives.

On account of his intense national love he became famous as Shriram Matta. His love for India was such that a piece of the National Flag remained clung tightly between his teeth despite beaten unconscious when brutally man-handled by British police during Jail Satyagraha in Agra Disctrict. Remained confined in Asansol Jail along with Mahamana Malviyaji, Swarooprani Nehru, Devdas Gandhi, Rafi Ahmad Kidwai etc. in connection with freedom movement and was inspired here to collect funds from the masses (Muththi Fund) for the extension of Missions activities.

The 24 mahapurashcharanas, which were started at the tender age of 15, reached its MahaPoornahuti in 1953, with the foundation of the Thought Revolution movement

Through various activities at Mathura, including the performance of Yagyas on large scale, Acharyaji gathered a team of dedicated men and women. Thus the organization called Gayatri Pariwar was born.

Present Patrons and Mentors Aadarniya Dr. Pranav Pandya Poojaniya Shail Bala Didi

He tied his wedding knot with a great elevated soul, Mata Bhagwati Devi Sharma, who like Kasturba Gandhi, gave her moral and spiritual support at every step, every moment. A personification of love and sacrifice, Mamta and Karuna, she became the driving energy and strength of Pandit ji

The period 1971-1990 witnessed remarkable multifaceted accomplishments of Acharyaji's life. In 1971 he instituted the mission's headquarters at Shantikunj (Haridwar, India) as an academy for moral and spiritual awakening and training. Here he began revival of ancient spiritual disciplines that were the hallmarks of Indian Culture.
