No judging just have fun and draw on your memories 7:00 Homecoming Dance at Rosenwald POINT SYSTEM * Costume Judging each day: 1st Place = 1000 points for your grade level nd 2 Place = 500 points for your grade level 3rd Place = 250 points for your grade level ** Banner and Locker judging (1x): 1st Place = 2000 points for your grade level 2nd Place = 1000 points for your grade level rd 3 Place = 500 points for your grade level 4th Place = 250 points for your grade level *** Penny Wars 1st Place = 3000 points for your grade level 2nd Place = 2000 points for your grade level rd 3 Place = 1000 points for your grade level 4th Place = 500 points for your grade level
Penny Wars: Each grade level will have a jar in the Nest. For each penny you receive 1 point. For each nickel you receive 5 points and each dime 10 points. For every quarter 25 points are deducted. The idea is for your grade level to accumulate as much money as possible but to use your quarters in the other grade levels jars to reduce their points. Moneys contributed will be donated to a local Back Pack Program to help feed hungry children.

Banner and Locker Competitions See your class SGA Representatives. They will be in the Nest from Mon. 23rd thru Wed. 25th with opportunities for you to participate in decorating class Banners for the Pep Rally and Lockers for class points.

The grade level with the MOST SPIRIT as determined by total points will be passed the Firebird Spirit Stick during the Pep Rally on Thursday. They will be given the opportunity to redecorate the Firebird Spirit Stick for display in the trophy case in the Nest.

HOMECOMING PEP RALLY AND BASKETBALL GAME


Thursday, January 26th

The school will be on a Family Schedule without holding Family meetings to allow for 3:30 p.m. dismissal. Students attending the Pep Rally will board activity busses at 3:40 p.m. to head to Rosenwald. Students will board the bus with a parent-signed permission form. Students not attending the Pep Rally will remain in the Nest until busses arrive at their normal afternoon pick-up time. Busses will return to CVCC approximately at 5:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Students are responsible for their own rides home from CVCC. Student / Teacher Basketball Game: Get together your team of five players (5 students) and sign up in the Nest to compete against a team of five staff members. Sign up deadline: Friday, Jan 20th

Permission Form to Ride Bus to Pep Rally: Pick up permission form in the office. Give parent-signed permission form to the bus driver upon boarding the bus to ride to Rosenwald.

Presentation of Homecoming Court and Crowning *Parents and CHS Alum are invited to join us for the Crowning Presentation. Homecoming Dance - Theme Flash Back - Professional DJ - Concessions for sale Semi Formal What this means: For Men: a suit and tie or dress pants with dress shirt and tie For Women: a dress, a dress suit or a dressy pantsuit Per student; Purchased in advance from January 18th 26th See Ms. Plover in the office. Per Student; Purchased at the door Per picture. Cost is due at time of sitting for the picture. We will have a photo hobbyist, with professional backdrops, on-site taking digital pictures of you and your friends. Pictures will be processed and distributed the second week of February.
