Almost 15 years ago Earthwood Development's first project, the 6 town homes at Irving and Paulina called "Linden Row" became the spot where six new households were to join the neighborhood ... Since then, and while a denizen of the neighborhood myself. we have completed a few additional projects including, 18 units at 4050 N. Lincoln, 6 town-homes at Grace and Lincoln, 12 condos at Cullom and Lincoln, 7 homes on the river at Rockwell, and a few others, too. A 6 unit project on Montrose and Manor is the only one we've done, not in the 47th Ward, if memory serves. We now have a possible opportunity to develop a project on the NW comer of Western and Hutchinson and are looking forward to continuing to build projects that are beautiful, successful, and in full harmony with the goals and desires of the neighborhood and its residents. Weare seeking to build 18 units, but of smaller size than a previous plan for 12 at the site. This, of course is due to the radical change that the real state market has experienced in the last few years. Three bedroom 2 1/2 bath luxury units are no longer whats practical to construct for sale or for rent. Due to a short due diligence period we are hoping for feedback as to the viability and efficacy of our plan as soon as is possible .and look forward to a making another positive contribution to our neighborhood ...
