9:30 AM – God's Strange Way of Growing His Church

like all of us, he needs encouragement from time to time. Here is what he wrote recently: "One of the things that affect us as individuals and churches is often a lack of prayer. I believe that through prayer much can be accomplished. It is a special feeling to know that on a certain day of the month people are praying specifically for you." Nico and Lia with their children are living far away from their home and acquaintances. Let us be especially mindful of them this month in our prayers before God.  The Sunday School/catechism classes (Beginners – 7 grade) are asked to meet upstairs this morning. Psalter of the month is #36: 1, 3, 4. Please review with your children.  Next Sunday, Dr. David Murray will lead our services, D.V.  Cornerstone United Reformed Church announces its 16th Annual Women's Conference, "Disciplines of a Godly Woman". March 16 & 17. Brochures detailing the conference are on the white table in the narthex.  Mission Update - Nico Kattenberg has proved to be an efficient and hard worker in the field, and is much appreciated by the Mission board. Yet

 Our YPS will be traveling to West Virginia on March 31 to work in one
of the most distressed counties in West Virginia. 13 students and 4 adults will work with Mustard Seeds and Mountains Inc to assist families in need. Please join in prayer for the group as we prepare ourselves for this exciting adventure. You may also assist the group by placing your financial support in the box placed in the narthex by the deacons. Building materials, travel & lodging expenses will incur. Thank you for your support. A pancake breakfast fundraiser will be held Saturday, March 17. Details later. (Over)

 Chatham FRC Bi-annual Youth Conference
The Senior Young Peoples of the Chatham FRC would like to invite all Senior Young Peoples from across all the FRC churches for our Bi-Annual Youth Meeting! We look forward to doing this every two years and always have a lot of fun on these week-ends. This is one is sure to be a blast! It will take place the first weekend in March (2-3) and the festivities are as follows. The meeting which will feature Pastor Tim Bergsma presenting "Being in the World, not of it", will start at 7:30pm on Friday, but please come 30-45 minutes ahead of time to register. After that, we'll have a get together with food and games and there is plenty of billeting available for overnight. On Saturday, we hope have a 10:00am brunch, which we will cook all the delcious food, with games scattered throughout. In the afternoon, we hope to go bowling at 1pm and we encourage all those attending the conference to create teams of 3-6 bowlers, but with a fun theme.
