Duringthepastfewweeksthewinterweatherhashadalottoanswerfor.ReadersintheUKwillofcoursehaveexperiencedfor themselvestheextremeandearlywinterweatherandhereinruralLincolnshiretheeffectsofthecoldwereverystronglyfelt. Throughouttheworstoftheweatherourvillagewasprettymuchcutoffbyheavysnowandforatimeourvillagepostofficemail collection and delivery services both ground to an alarming halt. So although the wintery scene outside our cottage windows was seasonally idyllic, it meant that for many days Tony and I were unable to dispatch orders to our Petite Properties customers. We wouldthereforeliketothankeveryonefortheirpatienceandrestassuredwealwaystrytogetordersdispatchedimmediately,but duringtherecentweather(failingtheborroweduseofamagicalsleigh)MrBeawasunabletogetorderspostedoutwithhisusual infamousefficiency!! However,despitenewsoffreshsnowfallsontheway,thismonthseditionofthePetitePropertiesnewsletterisatlastreadyand despite the chaotic weather conditions delaying our normal work schedule, we are delighted to be able to finally unveil our new innovativequarterscaleUpstairsDownstairskitseries;whichkicksoffwiththelaunchoftwoincrediblyeasytoconstructkits,which wehopeyouwillbeasexcitedaboutasweare! In 2011 the new Upstairs & Downstairs 1:48th with my range of kits will grow constantly, with more and granddaughter, more new kits added on a regular monthly basis. where you Each new addition to this innovative new range have to match will encompass different architectural styles and a persons body to sizes; enabling you to create your very own unique their legs quarter scale street scene.!!
and to be honest this mix and match concept got me thinking...

THE DOLLS HOUSE MAGAZINE

I am delighted to share that I am currently very flattered to be featured in the January 2010 edition of The Dolls house Magazine (Issue 152). However, I must confess that I did forget to share this news with my Mum and she phoned to say that I had given her quite a fright, when she inadvertently came across my mug shot as she was flicking through the issue, whilst stood in her local newsagents. Bea Safe to say, she bought a copy!

Sadly, due to a nasty virus, I was unable to attend the Christmas Kensington festival. However, Mr Bea stoically battled his way out of our snow bound village and safely down the A1 alone. Despite the extreme winter weather the show was yet again fantastic and Mr Bea was very well looked after by customers and fellow exhibitors alike! I dont even think he missed me!!

Here in the Petite Properties office, we are now gearing up for yet another busy year in 2011. For Mr Bea and I, January and beyond looks like it is going to be very exciting, with many new products on the way. Personally I am really looking forward to releasing our sixth quarter scale Kit & Book property: Barnacle Cottage and if only you could see the second adorable intermediate 1:48th house kit which is currently sitting on my desk; I think you would be as excited as us!
