But what is a brand, a brand is a small phrase that summarize the features of something, in this case countries. Also it has to be attractive and short because is the identification of your country. Also the article talks about the excessive way of branding in world, because many countries are branding itself without good reasons like identity. Also brands act like chameleons, because they are used in different situations, for example when you have to attract tourist or when you have to sell cultural products like our gastronomy. In many cases the men who are responsible of branding not used traditional ideas of identity because is not marketable.
