State Branch invite applications for the following positions to implement the HIV/AIDS & PHiE Programme supported by Hong Kong Red Cross through International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC). o District Coordinator - 1 Position ( S.P.S.R. Nellore District) o Counselors - 7 Positions (Nellore – 3, Prakasam -1, Karimnagar – 1, Warangal – 2) The District coordinator should be a self starter with an entrepreneurial bent of mind to lead project successfully. The District coordinator will report to the State Coordinator through District Secretary of Indian Red Cross Society and will be completely in-charge of planning, execution and coordination of HIV/AIDS & PHiE Programme operational plan. The District coordinator should be able to converse, read and write in Telugu and should be able to document in English. The District coordinator would also involve in envisioning the programme along with the team, give inputs to the State Coordinator to make critical decisions and taking up the latest happenings and challenges. The District coordinator will have to be well versed with Monitoring and Evaluation of the program and management of data (MIS) Position and Key Responsibility Areas • Program - Ensure smooth implementation of operations plan, meeting of timelines, planning, Monitoring and Evaluation of everyday activities, Taking feedback from the beneficiaries. • Outcomes – The outcomes of the programs are given high preference. • Documentation: Data analysis, report writing. Submitting all the relevant documents to chief program coordinator – Program plan, monthly report etc. • Out Reach – Coordinating the existing nutrition camps in the district and modifying implementations timely as required . • Attendance of staff meetings and participate in staff functions. • In charge of organizing the staff development training programs. • Partnerships with stakeholders: Maintaining partnerships with fellow organizations and explore training opportunities for grassroots organizations. Maintain relationships with resource people and other organizations. Key Candidates Requirement: The District coordinator and the counselors should have a strong knowledge of educational system and have program and people management skills • Strong leadership, documentation, programme planning skills. Strong writing and speaking skills in English and Telugu • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point). Knowledge and experience of working on Monitoring and Evaluation and data management. • An MSW/Masters in Sociology and keenness to engage in reading and keeping oneself updated on current HIV/AIDS & PHiE conditions Duration: initially the above positions are upto 30th June 2012 and will be extended subject to the approval of the Indian Red Cross Society, National Head Quarters, New Delhi.
