Sea Dogs’ History
•The Sea Dogs started play in Portland in 1994 -- the first team in more than 40 years to play in the popular Maine city – by shattering the Eastern League attendance record en route to drawing more than 375,000 fans in that historic inaugural season. •Since 1994, the Sea Dogs have averaged more than 400,000 fans per season, annually ranking in the top five in Double-A attendance and among the top minor league teams in capacity of the stadium filled. •The Sea Dogs rank first in the league in Season Ticket Holders at over 2,200 making a ticket to a Sea Dogs’ game hard to come by as only 71% of the season’s tickets are available to the general public. Many of these tickets are corporately owned which means nightly there are new and unique fans attending games. •The Sea Dogs welcomed their 7,000,000th fan in July 2011. They were the second-fastest team in Double-A history to reach the milestone! •In 2011 the Sea Dogs drew 369,424 fans and averaged 5,514 fans per game. •The Sea Dogs organization won the two most coveted awards in Minor League Baseball when they received the Freitas Award in 1999– which recognizes one team each year for long term success -- and the John H. More About the Sea Dogs
• Double A Baseball is the second highest classification of Minor League Baseball. • Like other members of Minor League Baseball, Double A Baseball offers fans affordable family entertainment and exciting and innovative promotions, with at least 140 games on the schedule for each club between April and September. • Because players at the Double A level are only two steps away from becoming a Major Leaguer, Double A Baseball has also become the level where most blue chip prospects complete their development. This can be seen as more and more players are jumping directly from Double A to the Major Leagues while spending little or no time at Triple-A. • The Sea Dogs are one of the highest attended Minor League teams in the country. In 2011 the Sea Dogs ranked 3 rd out of 12 Eastern League teams in attendance, 6th out of 30 Double-A teams, and 30th out of 176 Minor League Baseball teams in the country. • The Sea Dogs draw more fans each season than the other professional Maine teams combined including the Portland Pirates, Maine Red Claws, and Lewiston Maineiacs. • During the months of July and August the Sea Dogs operated at 95.2% capacity crowds. • The Sea Dogs benefit from being in the heart of Red Sox nation with games televised on NESN and numerous segments on regional television such as Comcast, NECN, and others creating additional opportunities for our sponsors to get noticed. • Prior to the 2003 season the Portland Sea Dogs installed a likeness of Fenway’s fabled Green Monster. The Sea Dogs’ own “Maine Monster” stands 37 feet high, is 315 feet from home plate, and features the signature Coke Bottle, Citgo Sign, and W.B. Mason sign. The Maine Monster offers a unique touch to Hadlock Field while also assisting in the development of the Red Sox outfielders.
From Hadlock to Fenway
In 18 season’s of baseball more than 180 Sea Dogs players have gone on to play in the Major Leagues. Three players from the 2011 Portland Sea Dogs Opening Day roster would make their way to the Major Leagues later in the season including Ryan Lavarnway. The 2011 Boston Red Sox featured 25 former Sea Dogs players including Daniel Bard, Josh Beckett, Clay Buchholz, Jacoby Ellsbury, Adrian Gonzalez, Jon Lester, Jonathan Papelbon, Dustin Pedroia, and Kevin Youkilis. Many of Red Sox stars appear for the Sea Dogs on injury rehabilitation assignments including Mike Cameron, Manny Delcarmen, Jacoby Ellsbury, Jeremy Hermida, Jed Lowrie, Daisuke Matsuzaka, David Ortiz, and John Smoltz. Amongst the Sea Dogs notable alumni are: Over 20 Major League All-Stars 4 Pitchers who have tossed Major League no-hitters (AJ. Burnett, Anibal Sanchez, Clay Buchholz, and Jon Lester). 2 Rookie of the Year Winners (Hanley Ramirez and Dustin Pedroia). 2 World Series MVP’s (Livan Hernandez and Josh Beckett). 1 American League MVP (Dustin Pedroia).

The Portland Sea Dogs are offering a special discounted parking card to park at Sea Dogs games. With each phone ticket order we will include a coupon good for $1.00 off at select parking areas. As presenting sponsor of our parking areas your business will be featured on the coupon and you too can include a special discount and/or general information about your business. In addition, we will give tickets at the parking lot for patrons to display, this will also feature information about your business as well as potentially a coupon. In 2012 the Portland Sea Dogs are excited to offer the opportunity for your company to sponsor the exclusive “Season Ticket Holder Series.” The Sea Dogs have an extremely loyal and dedicated Season Ticket Holder base of over 2,200 individuals and companies throughout Maine and New England. One of the many benefits of being a Season Ticket Holder are the special events hosted by the Sea Dogs throughout the season. The events in the Season Ticket Holder Series include: • Season Ticket Holder Batting Practice • Season Ticket Holder Autograph Session with the team • Season Ticket Holder Breakfast with the team This sponsorship allows your company to present three different events with the Sea Dogs and exclusive opportunity to have direct access to the most loyal fans in Northern New England. In addition you would be permitted to have representation at each event! Since 2007, the Sea Dogs hosted their “Sea Dogs Baseball Camp” for a week in July. The camp was conducted by Sea Dogs’ Coaches and Players. During the week our players and coaching staff provided instruction during the morning session and then the campers would put that to use in the afternoon while playing games. Each year the camp was a huge hit and SOLD OUT more than a month prior to the start. As presenting sponsor of the camp you will receive the following wonderful benefits: • Name on all promotional material associated with the camp including; print advertising, brochures, registration forms, and website. • One PA announcement at each Sea Dogs home game during the 2011 season • Name and logo on banners at the camp • Name on all the camper t-shirts • Name and logo on giveaway items provided to the campers

Golf Tournament Sponsorship
The Ninth Annual Slugger Open to Benefit the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital will take place in August of 2012 at Sable Oaks Golf Course in South Portland. The Slugger Open is a unique event that allows you to play golf with friends and co-workers in the morning followed by a picnic at the Sea Dogs game that evening, all while raising funds for the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital at Maine Medical Center. The tournament features current Sea Dogs players (future Boston Red Sox?) on the course, a golf shirt, a pancakes and bacon breakfast in the morning, a BBQ on the golf course, prizes, and much more. Each night large corporations and groups enjoy the Sea Dogs’ game from the comfort and class of a Skybox. With 17 filled Skyboxes every night there is plenty of opportunity for great exposure. As naming rights sponsor of our Skybox level you will receive the following wonderful benefits:
• Name and logo attached to all marketing the Sea Dogs do for the Skyboxes including pocket schedules, Game-Day program, in-house PA announcements, website, and more. • Signage outside of the Skybox Elevator in both the concourse and Skybox level.

Autograph Table Sponsorship
The Portland Sea Dogs Autograph Table is a daily destination for all of our fans, young and old alike! Each game we have one or more Sea Dogs players at the autograph table for about 20 minutes about 1-hour prior to game time. Fans line up for their chance to get a FREE autograph from their favorite Sea Dog players. As the presenting sponsor you will receive the following wonderful benefits: • Naming Rights for the Autograph Table • A full size banner located behind the table. The banner lets fans know about your company PLUS is featured in all fan photos of their experience at the table!
• A PA announcement at every game letting fans know who is at the autograph table.

Added for the 2004 season and a smash hit with our 400,000+ fans is our Ford Board Video Board. Located in right-centerfield offering a great view to our fans, the Ford Board offers advertisers a unique and interactive way to reach out to fans. The clarity and sound are second to none and provide entertainment and education to all fans. Our goal is to keep the inventory limited so our advertisers message won’t get lost in the shuffle. Limited pre-game and ingame spots remain. During each Wednesday game at Hadlock Field the Sea Dogs will host BINGO Night. Fans entering the park receive BINGO cards with your company name and logo on it each Wednesday. During the game specific plays of the game will be tied to a letter and number. When those plays occur fans will mark their card. The fan that gets BINGO will win a special prize.
Price: $6,000.00 for the entire season (total of 10 Wednesday games, only $600 per night!)
