GHIBAH 1.

It has been defined precisely by the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) as, “You mentioning your brother with something about him that he dislikes [being spoken about].” Someone asked, “How about if my brother contains that [characteristic which I am mentioning]?” He replied, “If he possesses that which you mention, then you have [indeed] backbite him. And, if he does not contain that which you say, then you have slandered him.” [Muslim in al-Birr, 4/2001, #70; Ahmad in Al-Musnad, 2/230,384] 2. “Whoever averts [an attack] from the honor of his brother, Allah will avert the fire from hi sface on the Day of Arising.” [Tirmidhi (hasan)] 3. “Whoever has wronged his brother, in the way of property or honor, let him go to him and repair it, before it is taken [from him on a day] when he has no dirhams or dinars, such thatif he has any good deeds, some of the good deeds will be taken and given to [the wronged one], otherwise [if he has no goo deeds], some of the other’s evil deeds will be taken and cast upon him.” [Bukhari, Al-Mazalim, 5/121, #2449. Ahmad, AlMusnad, 2/435] 4. “And, when they hear vain talk, they turn away from it.” [Qur'an, 28:55] 5. “[Succesful are] those who shun vain talk.” [Qur'an, al-Mu'minun: 3]

TAJASSUS 1. Oh you who believe! Avoid many suspicions, indeed some suspicions are sins.And spy not, nor backbite one another. (Quran 49:12) 2. Abu Huraira (RA) narrated that the Prophet (SAW)said, "Beware of suspicion, for suspicion is the worst of false tales; and do not look for the others' faults and do not spy, and do not be jealous of one another, and do not desert (cut your relation with) one another, and do not hate one another; and O Allah's worshipers! Be brothers (as Allah has ordered you!"). (Bukhari) 3. Ibn Abbas narrated that the Prophet (SAW)said, "Whoever claims to have seen a dream which he did not see, will be ordered to make a knot between two barley grains which he will not be able to do; and if somebody listens to the talk of some people who do not like him (to listen) or they run away from him, then molten lead will be poured into his ears on the Day of Resurrection …(Bukhari)

I shall guarantee him entrance into Paradise. Say to My servants that they should only say those things that are best. Abu Barza Al-Aslami (RA) narrated that the Prophet (SAW)said: O community of people." He then said. . ‫ر أَخَاهُ اَ ْلمسلِمحسب اِمرئ مهَ الشر أَن يَحْ ق‬ َ ِ ٍ ِ ْ ِ ْ َ َِ ‫ُ ْ ب‬ ِ “Cukuplah seseorang itu menjadi jahat saat ia menghina saudaranya yang muslim” (Tirmidzi dan Ibnu Majah) 2. you are backbiting him. while it was most serious in the sight of God (24: 15) 2. "But what if what I say is true?" The Messenger of God said. do not back-bite Muslims. and you thought it to be a light matter. for Satan is to man an avowed enemy. when you heard it. "If what you say about him is true. who believed by their tongue. (Ahmad and Abu Dawood) FITNAH 1. Allah will search for his fault. He disgraces him in his house. And why did you not. Prophet Muhammad said :"Do you know what backbiting is?" They said. say? "It is not right of us to speak of this: Glory to God. this is a most serious slander" (24:16) 3. for Satan does sow dissensions among them. and do not search for their faults. you received it on your tongues.4. and said out of your mouths things which you had no knowledge." (Muslim) 5. (17:53) 4." Someone asked him. "It is to say something about your brother that he would dislike. "God and His Messenger know best. Prophet Muhammad said : "Who protects his tongue from unlawful utterances and his private parts from illegal sexual intercourse. but if it is not true then you have slandered him. for if anyone searches for their faults. Behold. and if Allah searches for the fault of anyone. and belief did not enter their hearts." (Bukhari and Muslim) FADHIHAH ْ ِّ َّ 1.
