3.3.User Words * ESI 4 now allows you to add User-defined words (along with their meanings and translations) to the Database. 3.4.Translation Memory * This feature allows the user to change the preferred meaning and translation of any word, making automatic and interactive translation more flexible and more convenient for the User s needs. 3.5.Hyperlinks handling * Now the hyperlinks within the documents are handled correctly. Product Installation -----------------------

4.1.The installation program should start automatically upon insertion of the CD. To easily navigate through the steps shown, use the buttons labeled "Next" and "Back". The process may be aborted at any time by clicking on the "Cancel" button. If the installation process does not start automatically, execute the file setup.exe from the CD-ROM. 4.2.Select which programs to install. The default selection is "Suite Premier", but you can choose from others shown on screen. 4.3.The "Custom" option allows you to personalize any of the applications you choose. This option will show the latter in tree-view form. This allows you to choose the applications that will be included in your package. This option also allows you to check the disk space necessary for each application and to change the target installation path. 4.4.Press the install button so that the process starts copying the files to your hard drive. 4.5.Installation progress can be checked on the bar that appears during file copying. 4.6.You will be notified when the Installation process has been completed. Product Registration ----------------------As long as the products are not registered you'll be prompted to do so every time you start the application until the trial mode expires. 5.1.Register via Server: Select this registration option if you wish to use Word Magic s Registration Server for that process. (You must be connected to the Internet in order to proceed.) You will be prompted for your activation code (you received from us in an email letter). Note: If the computer in which you wish to install the product is attached to a Fire Wall, it is highly probable that your connection to the Registration Server will not be successfully established. In that case, please notify us via e-mail to: orders@wordmagicsoft.com; you will be assigned a Registration Number and the process will be performed manually. 5.2.Register Manually: Select this option if you have a Registration Number. You will be prompted for your activation code and your Registration Number. 5.3.Register with Backup Code: Select this option if you have a Backup Code (from a previous registration of the program). You will be prompted for your activation code and your Backup Code. Suggestion: Save your registration information on a floppy diskette.

Known Bugs ------------7.1.Complex Html files might not be displayed correctly. 7.2.Under unidentified circumstances, it becomes impossible to open Excel (.xl s) files, and even when they open, it is not recommendable to translate them. 3.3.Palabras del usuario * El ESI 4 ahora le permite agregar palabras de usuario (con sus correspondientes significados y traducciones) a la Base de Datos. 3.4.Memoria de Traduccin * Esta funcin permite al usuario preestablecer la primera traduccin de cualquier palabra, lo cual hace ms flexibles la traduccin automtica y la interactiva y las hace tambin ms convenientes para las necesidades del usuario. 3.5.Hipervnculos * Los hipervnculos son manejados ahora de forma correcta. 3.9.El producto Point & Click Translator es ahora mucho ms estable que antes. La razn: ahora el programa no intenta seleccionar la palabra sino que el usuario tiene que seleccionar manualmente. Esta es una mejora considerable. 3.10.Se corrigi pulga de instalacin que desregistraba versiones ya registradas de los productos. 3.11.Se removi la caracterstica de deshabilitar las funciones de guardar dentro del ESI Profesional. 3.12.Se corrigi pulga de bsqueda con comodines (i.e. a*) dentro del diccionario 3.13.Se corrigi pulga dentro de los plugins de Microsoft Office cuando el documento no haba sido guardado. Ahora da un mensaje de advertencia para que el usuario guarde el documento antes de proceder. Cambios especficos a la versin 4.3: ------------------------------------3.14.Se mejor la calidad de traduccin tanto de Ingls a Espaol como de Espaol a Ingls 3.15.Se le cambi el nombre al producto Point & Click Translator a Point & Click Translation Dictionary 3.16.Se corrigi problema de arranque con Windows de Point & Click Translation Dictionary 3.17.Se agrega funcin de conjugacin de verbos dentro del Point & Click Translator 3.18.Ahora el Point & Click Translation Dictionary puede ser configurado para ser invocado con el botn central del ratn 3.19.Se corrigi problema con la disposicin de los editores dentro de ESI 3.20.Se corrigi problema con el reemplazo del diccionario dentro de ESI 3.21.Los plugins para Microsoft Office fueron rediseados completamente 3.22.Se corrigi problema con el reemplazo de los plugins dentro de Microsoft Word que haca perder los espacios finales de las palabras 3.23.El puerto 9000, utilizado por el programa para el registro, fue eliminado. Ahora las personas con firewalls dentro de compaas no tendrn problemas registrando el programa en lnea, porque el puerto de web por defecto es utilizado 3.24.El modo de impresin frase-por-frase fue habilitado. 3.25.La funcin de imprimir el documento con su procesador de palabras favorit o fue habilitada. 3.26.Dos nuevos botones dentro de la ventana de Control de Sintaxis de la Traduccin Interactiva: el botn de "Mantener Traduccin Existente" que le permite mantener la traduccin sin hacer cambios e ir a la siguiente frase. El otro botn es el de "No Traducir Frase", el cual le permite

dejar la frase intacta, sin traducir, en el documento destino. 3.27.Algunos problemas con bsquedas con comodines dentro de Translation Dictionary & Tools fueron corregidos. Cambios especficos a la versin 4.4: ------------------------------------3.28.Compatible con Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 3.29.Nueva funcin para seleccionar el pronombre en la ventana de Traduccin Interactive de ESI Profesional. 4. Instalacin del Producto --------------------------4.1.El programa de instalacin deber iniciarse automticamente al insertar el CD. Para navegar a travs de los pasos a seguir, utilice los botones marcados "Next" y "Back". El proceso podr abortarse en cualquier momento haciendo clic sobre "Cancel". Si el proceso de instalacin no da inicio automticamente, vaya a "Mi PC", haga clic sobre la Unidad de CD-ROM, y luego doble clic sobre "Setup.exe". 4.2.El tercer paso pide informacin sobre el usuario. Digite el Nombre de la Persona y de la Empresa. Aqu se puede especificar tambin a cules otros usuarios de la red se les permitir usar las aplicaciones. 4.3.En el cuarto paso se le pregunta si desea cambiar la ruta por defecto en l a cual sern guardados los componentes del programa, la cual es C:\Archivos de Programas\Word Magic Software\4.0). 4.4.Seguidamente, puede seleccionar los programas que desea instalar; la selec cin por defecto es "Suite Premier", pero puede escoger entre los que muestra l a pantalla. La opcin de Personalizar le permite cambiar a su gusto cualquier aplicacin que desee. stas se mostrarn en vista de rbol para que usted pueda seleccionar cules conformarn su propio paquete. Esta opcin le permite adems consultar el espacio en disco necesario para cada aplicacin y para cambiar/consultar la ruta objetivo designada para la instalacin. Ahora, tod o lo que necesita hacer es presionar el botn de instalacin para que el proceso empiece a copiar los archivos a su disco duro. 4.5.El progreso de la Instalacin puede observarse en la Barra de que aparece durante el copiado de los archivos. 4.6.Una vez que el Proceso de Instalacin haya concluido con xito, haga clic sobr e el Botn "Finish". Si tiene algn problema con la instalacin, registro u operacin del producto, llmenos al telfono 1-800-893-7173 PIN 02 o contctenos por correo electrnico a soporte@wordmagicsoft.com. 5. Registro de los productos ----------------------------

Mientras los productos no estn registrados se le pedir registrarlos cada vez que inicie la aplicacin, hasta que el perodo de prueba termine. 5.1.Registro va Servidor: Seleccione esta opcin para registrarse usando el Servidor de Registro de Word Magic. Deber estar conectado a la Internet para proceder. Se le solicitar su cdigo de activacin (el cual recibi por correo electrnico). Nota: Si la computadora en la que se desea instalar el producto est trs un FireWall, existe la posibilidad de que la conexin con el Servidor de registro no pueda ser establecida con xito. En este caso usted debe informar esta situacin va correo electrnico a la direccin: orders@wordmagicsoft.com de forma que pueda obtener un Nmero de Registro y proceder manualmente. 5.2.Registro Manual: Seleccione esta opcin si tiene un Nmero de Registro. Se le solicitar su cdigo de activacin y su Nmero de Registro. 5.3.Registro con Cdigo de Respaldo: Seleccione esta opcin si tiene un Cdigo de Respaldo (de un registro previo del programa). Se le solicitar su cdigo de activacin y su Cdigo de Respaldo. Sugerencia: Guarde su informacin de registro en un disco floppy, en caso de que se necesite en el futuro por un colapso de su computador o para transferir el producto a otra PC. 6. Esta opcin traduce todos los tipos de archivos incluidos en el directorio que pueden ser cargados por ESI. [/s] Incluir sub directorios [/f:archivo1;archivo2;archivo3;...] Cargar uno o varios archivos indicando las rutas de los archivos o direc torio a traducir [/h] o [/?] o [/help]

Problemas no resueltos de los productos -----------------------------------------7.1. Los archivos html complejos podran no desplegarse de manera correcta. 7.2. Por factores desconocidos, en ocasiones es imposible abrir archivos con formato Excel (.xls); sin embargo, aun cuando el programa los cargue, es recomendable no traducirlos. Cuando el usuario modifica el documento original dentro de ESI, el programa cre a una copia de respaldo del documento en forma automtica.
