First push the round down to overcome the pressure of the magazine spring. ALWAYS BE SURE THAT THE PISTOL IS POINTED IN A SAFE DIRECTION AND THAT THE TRIGGER FINGER IS OUTSIDE OF THE TRIGGER GUARD AND WELL AWAY FROM THE TRIGGER. Push until the magazine catch is fully engaged.LOADING and FIRING WHEN LOADING A DIAMONDBACK FIREARMS PISTOL. Pull the slide fully to the rear then release it completely to allow the recoil springs to force the slide forward at a high rate of speed. Hold the pistol firmly when shooting. If it is not held firmly. This action will load a round from the magazine into the chamber. then push the round fully to the rear of the magazine. LOADING MAGAZINE The magazine is filled by pushing one round at a time into the magazine. First push the round down to overcome the pressure of the magazine spring. rear lip first. Rounds are pushed. Page 10 . then push the round fully to the rear of the magazine. into the front of the magazine.
NOTE: When pressing the sight. remove the magazine by pressing the magazine catch in and pulling it from the bottom of the grip.UNLOADING To unload the DB380. and pull the slide back quickly to extract and eject the round in the chamber. Do not obstruct the ejection port. SIGHT ADJUSTMENT The rear sight is held in place by a tight fit. use a non-marring material against the sight and the slide to avoid damage to either. Page 11 . then move the rear sight to the right and this will move the bullet placement to the right. If the target group is to the left of where you are aiming the sights. Windage (Side to Side) adjustments are made by pressing the rear sight in the direction you want the bullet to move. Keep all fingers away from the trigger and muzzle. VISUALLY INSPECT THE CHAMBER TO MAKE SURE IT IS EMPTY.
While holding the assembly catch down. First. Barrel. releasing the striker. Do not use force! Repeat operations above. Recoil Spring. remove the magazine and visually confirm that there is not a round in the chamber.FIELD STRIPPING For normal cleaning and maintenance. Page 12 . NOTE: If the slide is pulled too far back it will reset the striker and will not slide forward off of the receiver. it is sufficient to dismantle or “field strip” the pistol into its main components: Slide. Receiver and Magazine. Then pull the trigger. Recoil Spring Guide Assembly. release the slide and barrel and remove them from the receiver. Next. pull the slide and barrel back just enough to allow the assembly catch to be pressed down all of the way.

RE-ASSEMBLY Place barrel into the slide and then push the recoil spring assembly back into position. push on the recoil guide head and allow the recoil guide to clear the barrel and be released. While still lifting. slide it back towards the breech face and remove it from the slide. NOTE: THE RECOIL SPRINGS ARE UNDER TENSION AND MAY FLY OFF GUIDE AND CAUSE INJURY. lift the barrel up and slide it forward in the slide. Make sure the Recoil Guide Head is all the way into position on the barrel and is centered between the slide rails. After the recoil guide has been removed. Line the slide rails on the receiver with the rail slots on the slide and push the slide and barrel back until the assembly catch engages completely.To remove the barrel from the slide.
