Puddle light

Added the puddle light. Similar to the E92. Be careful of that extended leather.

Ai bag, foam piece and butyl tape removal

The window and mirror switches are now hot glued in place. Need the switches if you want to use the car. Was going to order a spare switch but was able to peel off the glue.

Air bag:

Exterior door handle

Unlike the Z3, the Z4 exterior handles can be removed without removing the interior trim panel.

Door cabin connector

To do the puddle and exterior door handle light, I need to run one wire from the door to the cabin. There are four unused locations. On the door side the wiring (three wires) is in place for the fold-in mirrors. On the cabin side no wires in those positions.

Added wires

Have to install the wiring. Have to purchase the mirrors, switch and a module too. mirrors 51 16 7 114 045/6 $426r each switch 61 31 6 955 040 $125.25r module 61 35 6 915 061 $61.60r $1038.85r Cheaper than I've heard. Quick look. Will check in detail when I get a chance. Probably after HC. No support from NA. Ron Stygar

I'd love to see pics and stuff, as that (and having the mirror tilt down when in reverse) are features from my M5 that I sorely miss! __________________

But why would you want the reversing-fold-down mirrors? This car has such amazingly great visibility out the back windows. oh... wait... sorry... what was I thinking!?! __________________ Addict e86 e53 e39 e32 e24 louv

Come to think of it, DO the euro mirrors right side fold down when in reverse? __________________

My guess is no. Doesn't need fold-in for that. Will have to ask somone in Canada that has it.
