This is the tip of the iceberg. How they lost $900 on a car they valued at over $2600 is interesting. I'd love to know how they charged $15,000 for unneeded carpentry, and REMOVING our belongings, including antiques and oriental rugs, which only produced $200 for the "Estate" … I was told that he would be helping to protect my mother's assets from the nursing home. It was only when our joint bank accounts were frozen that I realized he was in fact liquidating everything. Until then, I was doing maintenance on the house (about $1,000), and preparing for my mother's homecoming. I did liquidate some of her IRA, to hire an attorney and pay for private care if needed, but I only spent around $1,000 ~ I also do not know what became of the "missing" $3,000+. A bank statement should be able to answer that question! Again, "assassination by insinuation." I sure wish now I had kept cash aside for a Probate Litigator!
