The airplanes are representative of the constant running/ escaping and constant movement that is reflective of the title ‘Catch Me If You Can’. Also the simple colour scheme that has been used makes the sequence pleasant on the eyes and may also mirror the simplicity of the film itself. The use of black on the man in the image makes him seem more illusive and mysterious so that we can recognize that this film may be about one man hiding and escaping from something. The character that is sitting down is much larger than everyone else making him seem far more important and powerful than everyone else in the image. Also the long continuous black lines that form the titles reflect the never ending chase of someone or something. The character’s hat and glasses conceal him more which makes the effect of him hiding from someone. The use of the newspaper makes him less conspicuous as well. The word ‘me’ is fading out and moving away representing the illusiveness of the character that is running away. It is also a different colour making it separated from the rest which signifies an outcast or that the person who it represents is more unique than the rest. Again the long lines have been used to reflect the running away. The illusive character is clearly in the taxi because it is on the run from the police car which again signifies the running that seems to be repeated over and over again. Also the blurry background makes the car the main focus of the image which is a reflection of the main plot of the film. The blanked out windows may be being used to conceal the person within the car which may reflect that the driver is a wanted man/woman. The spoiler signifies that the car is or is used for racing or that the car is very fast. The blurry background which is in front of the car signifies that the driver either doesn’t really know were they’re heading or that there is no real destination that they are heading for. The only object within the image is the car which signifies that this film is all about cars but also signifies that nothing else matters other than the car. The body of the car looks like it is very expensive and that it has been improved. This signifies that they’re is always room for improvement and that the people in this film have a lot of money whether it come from legal or illegal sources. This is then backed up by the large and shiny rims which also look like they’d be expensive. The person inside is still concealed which signifies that the person inside has broken the law. The green background creates the feeling of success or that something good has happened which may reflect the mood at the end of the film for the person that is driving the car. Also, all of the titles that we have seen are around the car which again signifies the importance of the car which is seemingly the main plot of this film.
