. BSN IV-4 Character Education and Professional Ethics Anna Fitzgerald Its good to know that even at a young age, Anna is aware she was in a situation that her rights has breach and was taken to her since she was a child. I think it impossible for me to do what Anna does if applied here in our country because there many factors that will prevent me for accomplishing it. But setting the factors aside I would do it for my sake because every human being has the right to live and live happy. On the other hand, she finally decides to say no more and with the help of a lawyer, who also has a medical issue unknown to everyone else, sue her parents for the right to say no and not have to go through more medical treatments for her sister. Society has grown to a point where anyone can sue anyone, including parents, for just about anything. Sometimes it seems morally wrong for children to sue their parents for anything. The children should owe their lives to their parents for dedicating their lives to their children. I dont want to be careful, who wants to live like that? in this words that Anna uttered, I was then know that she really should get what she really wants and to the point that her sister Kate approves about it. Lawyer A lawyer is an enforcer of justice and this justice should be fair to all just like it symbol, Lady Justice. The two prominent signs of fairness in this symbol are the scale and the blindfold. This

means that if there is instability of justice, a lawyer is one of the people that will be responsible to maintain the balance. This is what exactly shown by Campbell. He clearly knows that there is a problem. It is just right that he accepts the case that Anna was given. Although Anna was too young to sue her parents, the lawyer still tries to help her. In the movie, the parents of Kate Fitzgerald, especially her mother, experienced shock, feeling of denial when they knew their daughter is suffering from leukemia. At some point begins to feel and hurt. Because of grieving denial, Sara with her husband decided to do all things just to keep their daughter alive, making a morally dubious choice of manufacturing a perfect donor baby. Because of guilt, they dont want to accuse themselves of negligence, thats why they are ready to take all the risk even if the life of Anna (the engineered daughter) is in danger.

Sarah and Brian Fitzgerald (Parents) As a parent, Sarah has the determination to not let her child die. I would do something for my love ones if they are succumbed to a problem. I empathized with Brian because he bit by bit realized that what were they doing the whole time creates a whole lot of mess to their family and as a father, he should be the stronghold of the family that will ensure the safety of his family. And they were compromising the safety of their own child just to make sure that their other child would survive. But I think they were trying to experiment the lives of their children. And just like Anna said, they would be both in danger if the kidney transplantation fails. Medical Team (Doctor)

The medical system has so many new technological breakthroughs that there is always a new idea to prolong a terminally ill patient and families are put through more pain and suffering during these difficult processes. The way society works is that there is no right time to say goodbye as long as there are doctors who know more than the next and have new ideas to extend life even if it is only for a few months. We need to understand and listen to the ones terminally ill when they say it is time to say goodbye. They should have the right to decide when to die, and we should be able to let go and say goodbye.

Yourself Grief is a form of sorrow that follows the perception or anticipation, loss of one or more valued or significant objects. If you have lost a loved one, friend or colleague, or experienced a trauma that has changed your life, its normal and natural to grieve. The grieving process gives time to reflect and find new strength that enables us to continue lifes journey and regain peace of mind. My Sisters Keeper is one of a kind movie that reflects the situation of many families today. Aside from that, it is true that the movie showed us how grieving process works in an anticipated loss of a beloved someone. Yes, it is hard to lose someone but it is part of the reality and no one is entitled to be immune from it.
