Do you want a pleasant lighting environment when friends visit, or low lighting for watching your home cinema? Do you dream of installing a switch that will turn off all the lights, reduce the heating and activate the alarm when you leave the house, all with just one press? To meet these requirements, Legrand has created In One by Legrand , the system that enables everyone to choose their own level of comfort, safety and communication for their home or small business.

With In One by Legrand , you can create numerous scenarios to suit your needs and preferences For example : Turning off all the lights at once when you leave for work. If you want, this single operation can also activate the alarm and/or reduce the heating to economy mode Switching between various different lighting environments for reading, watching the television, having a drink or a meal Switching off the lights in the lounge, lowering the roller blinds and switching on the home cinema Create the perfect ambience for your entertainment area switching on the lights and the pool control, the garden lights and switching on your fountain.

Operating principle
A new switch: the scenario switch, is used to create scenarios that make life simpler. Combined with new In One by Legrand products that communicate with one another, this switch controls the electrical installation in the house, centralising all the controls or control it remotely via a web server.

Scenario switch

Mobile scenario switch Controls up to 6 scenarios combining lighting and blinds in just one operation.

Scenario remote control Controls scenarios combining lighting, blinds, TV, home cinema, etc., in just one operation.

Better living through technology

The magic of smart solutions lies in the minute details. Imagine all the electrical functions in your home reacting accordingly to different scenarios throughout the day with just a touch of your finger.

6:00am
Rise and shine! One click and the lights gradually dim up while the air-conditioner is turned off and the curtains open. The remote control puts you in charge of your lights, curtains, air con and TV, all with the mere touch of a button. The scenario switch button can control not only the lights in the same room, but any other switches around the house as well.

6:30am
4

6:45am
Heading to your kitchen for breakfast, a single button on the scenario switch turns off everything in your bedroom and bathroom, and draws the curtains closed.

Your bathroom lights come on for your morning shower. Once youre done, the curtains close for privacy while you pick your outfit.

A scenario switch is able to launch up to four different scenarios. A scenario is a predetermined group of actions (comprising of lights on/off, light dim up/down, curtains open/close and air con on/off).

The intelligent curtain switch can open or close the curtains, either with a mere touch of the button, using the remote controller or via the internet.

7:00am
For peace of mind when leaving the house, a single button on the scenario switch can ensure everything in the house has been turned off. The occupancy sensor is an ingenious device that keeps the lights on for as long as the area is occupied. This is ideal for door entrances, toilets and store rooms. A smart function also allows the compensation of daylight by adjusting the light level according to the ambient light.

Impossible? Not at all. Join us on a quick walkthrough of a normal day in a fully-automated smart home and let your fingers do the work.

2:00pm
Taking a short break, you log onto your Omizzy webserver. From the computer, you see your 9-year-old child coming home from school through the webcam. Omizzy is a control unit which allows you to command the various functions around your home through any web browser, PDA or mobile phone via the Internet. If youre away on vacation, you can even programme a sequence of actions that can be activated at specific times to make it appear like the home is occupied.

7:00pm
As you start dinner, a quick touch on the dimmer button lets you fill the dining room with the desired level of light for a cosy family dinner and the background music of your choice.

9:00pm
Leisure time has now been made so much more enjoyable. A single button automatically dims the lights in your entertainment room, closes the curtains and turns off all the other lights as you lay back and enjoy your favourite movie. A home theatre scene can be preset for total convenience. With just a click of the dial, your remote control can also double as a TV remote control with volume and channel controls.

11:30pm
Aah... time to hit the bed for a new day tomorrow. Your rest and relaxation is maximised by simply hitting one button which then turns off all the lights, closes the curtains and turns off the air-conditioning in the living and dining rooms. Good night and sweet dreams. More than just a convenient light switch, the dimmer function allows you to conveniently control your lights using the remote control from the comfort of your bed.
