The RESERVE AFFAIRS OFFICE (J12) is the central point for all Reserve/Guard personnel and administrative actions at USAFRICOM (located in Bldg 3313, Room 018/ with a Program Manager for each branch of Service): Air Force 421-3487; Army/NG 421-4398; Marine 421-4543; Navy 421-4484). 4.) PCS/PRE- SEPARATION BRIEFINGS for March will be conducted on 28 March 2012. Two classes will be presented this month in anticipation of larger attendance with the summer PCS season approaching. It is important to stress to your members they most call the CPF to sign-up for one of the classes at DSN 431-2599 or commercial 07031-152599. *Information provided during the first 1 3/4 hours is applicable to all services and includes those who are separating from service. *It is mandatory that separating/retiring Soldiers remain for the transition portion of the briefing which is given during the last 45 minutes.

MARCH PROJECT MANAGEMENT INSTITUTE (PMI) Meeting *UPDATE* - The English Speaking PMI group in Stuttgart to meet *WEDNESDAY* *14* March 2012, at *Stuttgart Marriott Hotel Sindelfingen* (Mahdentalstrasse 68, 71065 Sindelfingen - location changed to accommodate the response). You don't have to be a member to attend and attendance is free. The topic continues our life-cycle progression with "Designing for Effective Solutions", and Mr. Frank French (President of the Frankfurt PMI Chapter) will be our guest speaker. An informal reception is planned for 1800, opening remarks and the key note presentation begin at 1830, and there will be an opportunity for round-table discussion afterwards. Social hour is from 1830-1930 hrs. The muster is open to all Citadel alumni, their spouses, and friends of the Citadel throughout Europe. The evening will include a social hour and muster. Citadel Clubs around the world hold an annual muster to remember and honor those members of the Corps who have fallen since the last muster. Dress is business casual. The USAFRICOM OFFICE OF SECURITY MANAGEMENT (J03-SM) is pleased to advertise two DSS courses being offered this year at Aviano Air Base, Italy. 1. The first course is Information Security Orientation, IF101.01, and is 28 - 29 March 2012. 2. The second course is DoD Personnel Security Management for Security

Professionals, PS212.01, and is 09 - 13 Apr 2012. If interested, please complete the course prerequisites and enroll through <> . EUROPEAN MOTORCYLE SEASON Is fast approaching; with that comes the need for refresher safety training. IMCOM develops the regulations for all Safety-related programs and IMCOM Europe manages the program for Germany. will help you learn exactly what training is required to operate a motorcycle in Europe. You will also find course schedules, for all of Germany. 10.) 4TH ANNUAL WOMENS LEADERSHIP FORUM Registration for the 4th Annual Women's Leadership Forum: Unleashing Your Potential and Impacting the World is now opened. The event will be held on Thursday, 29 March, from 0800-1600 pm at the Swabian Special Activities Center. This year registration for the Forum is on line. This coming Sunday MARCH 11 NO GAS, from AAFES or off post, can be purchased from 0500 1100. You also cant reload your fuel card or get new ones issued in that time frame. Kelley Commissary has new operating hours. They will be open from Monday thru Friday with Early bird from 0930 to 1100 and then 1100 to 1800. They will be closed on weekends. YOUR VEHICLE MAY BE TOWED - If you are parked in the Patch Community Club or anywhere in front of the gym, your car will be blocked and stand the possibility of being towed, at your expense, starting at 0800, March 7. The towing will be $40.00 each and you will have to go to FMWR to get your car released. WHY: Every year the Bazaar comes to Stuttgart and they have to start by putting up tents. During this time the MPs may be a bit more relaxed on ticketing. 12.) On March 28, 2012 the Patch Barracks, Panzer Kaserne and Kelley Barracks.

COMMUNITY BANKS will be open from 1100 - 1600 hrs due to training. Also, all Community Banks in Germany will be closed on April 6 and 9, 2012. Due to the Easter Holidays, the Panzer Community Bank will be open regular Saturday hours on the 7th of April 2012. 13.) HANDICAP STICKERS FOR VISITORS: If your family members were coming over to Europe to visit and they have a handicap sticker in the States does it carry over?

Answer According to the Commander of the US Army Regional Medical Command, Brigadier General Carla Hawley-Bowland, - Persons from the United States visiting US members for up to 90 days with a CONUS issued handicap parking placard will be provided with a 90 day temporary handicap parking placard by the Provost Marshal Motor Vehicle Registration. The individual must present proof of handicap parking eligibility by presenting the US issued handicap placard or a signed note from a primary care physician. These American handicap placards are not authorized for use off post. If it is necessary to have one for off post you have to visit a German doctor and get papers from them verifying the need and then go to the County Vehicle Registration Office to get the specific forms. It is a very difficult process and can take a long time to get it approved. 24.) HAZLEWOOD TUITION EXEMPTION FOR TEXAS VETERANS, SPOUSES AND DEPENDENTS. The purpose of the Hazlewood Exemption (Hazlewood Act) is to provide an education benefit to honorably discharged or separated Texas veterans and to eligible dependent children and spouses of Texas veterans. Eligible veterans, their children and spouses may receive an exemption from the payment of all tuition, dues, fees, and other required charges, including fees for correspondence courses, an ANY TEXAS INSTITUE OF HIGHER EDUCATION, but excluding deposit fees, student service fees, and any fees or charges for books, lodging, board, or clothing for up to 150 semester credit hours.
