EPROG Manual Instruction

Programmator EPROG is designed for programming Rotor Sensor in pump LUCAS/EPIC You can download new file to OSM or modify values minimum or maximum in sensor. Available is saving data to PC computer, or read file from PC computer and save to OSM.

For use Eprog with computer, please instal driver for USB driver is on CD in catalog "DRIVER" (see manual instruction for software) OPERATION Connect EPROG to power supply or car battery by supplied cable. READING OSM Choose "Eeprom read" by arrows up/down and next press "E" Now eprom is reading , please wait . Progress bar display progress. After reading display show serial number of pump and minimum and maximum value of rotor sensor saved in OSM : example: 312403MVF Min=330.0 Mac=733.5 Press "E" for finish Now you can edit value min. and max. of sensor, or write data to computer PC EDIT SENSOR VALUES choose function "Edit sensor" by arrows up/down next press "E" display : Edit sensor data <=MIN >=MAX ... 330.0 733.5 By arrows left/right you choose MIN or MAX for editing, cursor blink on the selected function , next by arrows up/down you can modify value with interval 0.5 microseconds. I you ready , now you will save it in OSM. Please press "E" for save in OSM. WARNING! sensor must first be read from the pump, then modify! If you not read OSM before then display show 0.0 value min. and max. you must disconnect EPROG from power supply, or from pump, because 0.0 values will be saved in OSM. After stored edited values press "E" for exit.

WRITE EPROM OSM from EPROG internal memory you can write OSM from internal memory (without computer) in EPROG is contained 9 pcs different pumps. Please choose function "Writefrom Eprog" and next press "E" example display : choose pump sn. 1. 02627AWF <> E=Enter by arrows right/left you can choose pump serial number if you are sure then press "E" for confirm Now eprom OSM is saved for finish press "E" now you can read OSM for test and check serial number and min or max values. WRITE FILE from OSM to COMPUTER Open software for EPROG in computer PC (see manual instruction for software) connect cable USB Please choose function "Write to PC" by arrows up/down, next press "E" now dosplay show : Please on PC press "from eeprom" Now click (on PC software) button "From eeprom" then in software you will see all data from OSM, if data are correct then box will be green, if incorrect color red. Pleas save data to disk , by click "File" next "save".

After sending data to computer press "E" on EPROG for exit. EPROM OSM write from PC computer 1.Open PC software for Eprog 2.click "File" and next "open" if you want file from disk, or you can write data from last sensor OSM which is in green box in software. Please in EPROG choose function "Eepr.WR.from PC" (Eeprom write from PC) displa show :

Press "to eprom" on PC next click on PC software button "To eprom" now EPROG will receive data and store to OSM after press arrow DOWN. WARNING! At communicating with a computer, clicks sequence is important. At the inversely click the button in program or EPROG will stop responding.

Copy old sensor to new sensor To copy sensor you must : 1. read old sensor (function "Eeprom read") for store in memory 2. Choose function "Copy from mem" press "E" 3. now sonsor is copied from memory you can read OEM for test all functions described above.

Power supply for EPROG only 12V DC !

Connection to pump (male connector in pump) :

Do not connect inversely! If pump have female connector then connections are mirror, but number are identical.

LANGUAGE You can change menu language , available are English,Russian or Polish For change language please : 1. Disconnect Eprog from power supply 2. Press button arrow UP and don't release 3. Connect Eprog to power supply 4. Choose language by arrows left/right 5. Press "E"
