“My Last Celebration of Independence Day”

Two years ago, 17th August 2022 was Indonesia 77th Independence Day. Most of Indonesian people
celebrated this history day. I celebrated it with all my friends and teachers at school. Orientation
In the morning, we held a flag ceremony for Indonesia's Independence Day with the reading of the
proclamation text , singing the Indonesia Raya Song, and raising the red and white flag by the Paskibraka
team. I felt this ceremony was very sacred. Events
After the flag ceremony was over, the school held several competitions to celebrate Independence
Day such as English speech contests, “Rank 1” competitions, soccer competitions, cooking competitions
and so on. All competitions were carried out in a sporting manner. Each student supported team or
candidate from each class to compete with each other's class. After all the competitions were over, each
winner got prize according to the ranking they got. Events
I was very happy with the celebration of independence day at school, because from this moment of
this celebration I remembered the hard work of the heroes to win Indonesian independence.

There are three castes of honey bee and each of them has their own job or function. The first one is the
Queen. The queen is a female honey bee with the job to lay eggs and to be the mother of all bees in the
colony. There is only one queen in a colony of bees. An exclusive food called “royal jelly” is what makes
a female honey bee grow larger than other honey bees and became the queen. The second one is the
Workers. The workers are all female honey bees in a colony except the queen. They can consist of as
much as 60.000 bees in single colony. Some of their duties are: feeding the brood, collecting food,
receiving nectar, cleaning the hive, guard duty, producing honey and also producing beeswax. The third
one is the Drones. Drones are all male bees in a colony. The drones have one job only and that is to
fertilize the queen during the mating process and will soon be dead after that. (Descriptions/facts)
