WHAT IS THE YOUNG PROFESSIONALS TECHNOLOGY SYMPOSIUM?

The Young Professionals Technology Symposium is an annual event that seeks to recognize, reward and promote technology innovation among young professionals as well as create opportunities for commercializing their technologies by linking them to mentors and financing organizations. Enterprise Technology, the organizers of the event, have now made it a regional event in the recognition that East Africans can benefit from sharing knowledge and innovation to become a formidable innovation hub in Africa and the world. The 3rd annual Young Professionals Technology Symposium is scheduled to take place in September 2012, in Kampala, Uganda under the theme: Jumpstarting Innovation The 2012 theme is based on providing a platform for young innovators (university and tertiary institutions students and companies ) from within the region of East Africa (Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Sudan and Uganda) to showcase their technology innovations to representatives from all East African countries, governments, and fellow young professionals.
