THREE SIGNS OF ERROR
IN EUROPEAN ASTROLOGY
Academy for RTRRT and Scientific Astrology
The Academy of Scientific Astrology is based on astronomic principles confirming to the IAU convention. The calculations are performed on the HORIZONS integrator by Jon Giorgini of NASA JPL, Pasadena CA.

Astrology was first allowed one sign of error, then two and now we are approaching three signs of error. 1. MOTIVATION In our previous works, we have pointed towards two signs of error in daily horoscopes as based on popular superstition that goes under the name of astrology. In this abstract, we amplify this error towards three constellations (sic). As three constellations roughly converge towards one quarter of the sky; we assume that the topic will be taken into consideration even by a formally disinterested reader. It is in the interest of the healthy future of the family to be identified by our proper natal signs. Already one sign of difference between the real sky and popular superstition creates disharmony. Three signs are an outstanding exposure of an error haunting humankind for perhaps over 5000 years. In that respect, establishing the proper zodiac is a measure in planetary safety, as we simply can not go on pretending that we do not see the errors of the past. Our purpose is to strengthen Vedic astrology with due astronomic purport, as well as introduce the Academic Zodiac into schools and media. The IAU has astrology as one of its topics, thus reintegration of astronomy with astrology must be done from the side of the astronomers. It is peculiar that the astronomers have abandoned zodiacal inspection long ago. Today is would be virtually impossible to find an astronomer as interested in the zodiac. Sometimes even an astronomer will take that there are only 13 zodiacal constellations, while they are clearly 22 in number. This, the abstract is primarily dedicated to applied astronomy in the fields of psychology and science in general. 2. PROBLEM STATEMENT The real skies remarkably differ from whatever popular belief. In illustrating this thesis, we present an ephemeris strip by NASA on which further zodiacal judgement is accordingly based. The ephemeris is laid for the winter sun. 2008-Nov-22 00:00 2008-Nov-23 00:00 2008-Nov-24 00:00 2008-Nov-25 00:00 2008-Nov-26 00:00 2008-Nov-27 00:00 2008-Nov-28 00:00 2008-Nov-29 00:00 2008-Nov-30 00:00 2008-Dec-01 00:00 Lib Lib Sco Sco Sco Sco Sco Sco Oph Oph
We see that the sun is in Libra on November 23rd. If we count the constellations, we understand that between Libra and Sagittarius there are two zodiacal constellations laying on the path of the sun, namely Scorpius and Ophiuchus. The sun does not enter Sagittarius after Libra. The sun spends a week in the tiny
zodiacal strip of Scorpius, in heading towards the dominating constellation of Ophiuchus. Thus, on November 23rd, the sun is in Libra. It is neither in Scorpius, nor Ophiuchus and surely fares almost a quarter of the sky from Sagittarius. On November 23rd every year, the sun is nowhere near Sagittarius. If we take a figurative step back from Sagittarius in assuming Ophiuchus as one sign of error; then Scorpius makes two signs of error, and Libra counts as three signs of error. We have three signs or, more properly, constellations of error in popular belief. 3. APPROACH The Academic Zodiac uses the IAU standards along with NASA JPL equipment in order to profess an authoritative analysis of the zodiac for the general reader, and the better to expand zodiacal experience in an astrologically minded scientist. There is scientific affinity between sincerely made astrological programs and the astronomical models from which they derive. The future has everything to offer as concern mutual implementation of seamless standards; both in astronomy ad academic astrology, for the better understanding of our nature, purpose and cosmic mission, as race and individuals as well. 4. RESULTS The results of our research are enlisted as follow. The Academic Zodiac was defined conclusively with August 2006. The Academic Zodiac has 22 constellations.
The 22 zodiacal constellation set is fixed for planet Earth. This set occasionally overlaps with the ascendant set for the epoch. The zodiacal constellations are not at all necessarily rising at due east for the epoch of interest. Thus; Scorpius, Aries or Capricornus do not rise at due east at the present epoch. In practice, nobody born at this time has Aries ascending. The ascendant set is subject to precession. The aggregate number of eastern ascendants is 88 in a precession cycle. The present ascendant set encompasses 16 IAU constellations for the epoch. The universal Cartesian house system is operating on spacecraft, planetary satellites and alien galaxies. The board computer scans for local zodiacs. Planetocentric astrology is the standard astrology of our future as race. Children born with e.g. sun in Draco, will have a disposition alien to the previous home planet incarnations. As precession gets close to the zodiacal constellation if Cetus, we term this era the Age of Cetus. 5. DISCUSSION Astrology was first allowed one sign of error; then one became two and now we are approaching three signs of error. On a planet swarming with computers, we have retarded minority that promotes error on planetary scale. Part of the responsibility goes to parents who just do not care about the children’s true horoscopes.
