30th November, 2011 UDPATES Dear Applicant, Congratulations!

We are happy to inform you that you have been accepted at the American University of Nigeria, for the Spring 2012 semester, which starts on January 24th, 2012. You are expected to show up at AUN, Yola, on January 17th, 2012 to check-in and participate in a number of important activities including The festive Pledge Ceremony for all new students and their parents, admissions, finance, residence hall check-in, which prepare you for life at the university, and registration for courses. Attached you will find information about AUN tuition and fees payment. Please read the attachment carefully, particularly the paragraph dealing with Deferred Payment Plan. Because there are large numbers of students who want to be a part of the AUN community, and our residence halls capacity are limited, you will also want to plan ahead and reserve a room. To reserve a shared room, you are kindly requested to make a separate full payment for your accommodation. While making the payment be sure to include the following information on your Bank Teller: Full name Your telephone number We have learned from past experiences that putting all first year students together in the same residence hall helps them adapt to university life easier. In light of this, we are putting all new students into one male and one female hall. These rooms will be configured with three beds and a study table. Every new student will be in one of these rooms, and pay the same prince of N 250,000. (This is subject to change according to availability of rooms). You are also expected to submit the medical examination form completed and signed by a physician. The form can be downloaded from the AUN website at once you have been accepted under Admissions Stage (1). You will not be able to complete your registration without the medical form. All new students are kindly requested to bring their own personal laptop computers with them. AUN supports wireless internet which students must use for their research work, assignments and other academic related issues. Studying at AUN requires that students must each have their laptop computer. You should be proud of your selection as a member of AUNs 14 th intake. You will be joining a very elite group of excellent students.
