How to Install a Dongol

Installation Process

To change to channel 14 1. Go to run( XP) or search bar(win7) 2. Type ncpa.cpl 3. Choose wireless network connection, RTL8187 **** 4. Rt clk , choose properties 5. Go to configure 6. Go to advance 7. Clk Channel Plan and select value MKK1 8. Clk OK 9. Go to realtek icon 10. Go to available network 11. Select ch 14 AP .. Pw:***** To install on a Mac book 1. Go to www.broadlink.com.np/downloads (you should be connected to internet by turning wifi on ) 2. Clk on usbdongoldriver 3. Clk on Mac 4. Clk on MAC OS X driver and Fix instruction. Zip 5. When downloads complete run the zip file and extract all files. 6. Install the driver included in zip file "install.pkg". Ignore the warning about the corrupt text. 7. After reboot, run "realtek USB WLAN Driver Fix mac os x snow leopard.command" and reboot again. 8. After reboot, run "realtek USB WLAN Driver Fix.command".

C1 Installation and Troubleshoot

IP setting
1. Select 'Internet Protocol (TCP/ip v4)' from Local Area Connection and click 'properties' 2. Type an IP address of same subnet as that of C1 defult IP i.e 192.168.99.** (Defult Ip of C1 is 192.168.99.99) 3. Use the defult subnet mask '255.255.255.0' 4. Clk 'ok' when finish

Check Access
1. Go to "cmd" in 'run' 2. Ping 192.168.99.99 3. C1 should respond to ping in nearly 1 ms if it is properly connected

Configuration
1. Open IE session and type IP of C1 2. Enter Username and Password to login C1 web access 3. System Status will Appear * Status * 2.4 GHz association AP * System configuration - Ip assignment : DHCP client / Static Ip - Ip Address : 172.16.4.232 - Subnet Mask : 255.255.255.0 - Gateway Address : 172.16.4.1 4. CLK reboot AP

To Reboot/Reset C1 device 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Go to browser and type 192.168.99.99 and press enter Under ADMINISTRATION clk the option reboot Clk reboot device To reset to factory default go to Factory Default Clk Restore to factory default (address retained) if you want to retains ip stored in device else clk Restore to factory Default 6. Reboot the device Note: There is a pin reset point just next to RJ45 connector in the C1 device. When the device is connected to power supply, push with a pin in this reset point for 10 sec until all light in the device blink once.

How to configure a Router:

Configuration
1. 2. 3. 4. Connect power supply to the router. Press power button on the back of the router. connect a network cable in any one of LAN port eg LAN1, LAN2... See if respective LAN led is glowing or not in front part of router (normally 3 lights should be on). 5. Go to network and operation center. 6. Choose Local area Connection 7. Set the ip of range 192.168.1.*** 8. Now open a browser, type 192.168.1.1 9. Go to command prompt and ping 192.168.1.1 to see if it is getting ping in less than 1 ms. 10. Go to wireless settings, Basic settings 11. Provide SSID (name of home wifi), mode 11b/g/n mixed, channel autoselect and save. 12. Go to Wireless security option, select the SSID, security mode wpa-psk/wpa2psk, select AES and then input preshared key (This will be password for clients who want to connect to this home wifi). Clk save and reboot.

Connection
1. Connect cable coming from LAN of POE (splitter) to the WAN port of router. 2. Connect desktop/laptop from LAN port of router to their network port.
