Global Diversity and Inclusion Foundation Creates Its Business Council Board
The Council will work to change mindsets around inclusion and diversity
ATLANTA (April 9, 2012) The Global Diversity and Inclusion Foundation (GDIF), a non-profit and a leading organization for creating and developing workplace diversity policies and procedures announce the formation and members of its business council board. The Global Diversity and Inclusion Foundation have taken the lead in the development of being the premier workplace diversity and inclusion foundation locally, nationally, internationally and globally. The business council is the working arm of the organization that will create, implement and execute the programs and services of GDIF, states Janeen Thomas, Co-Chairman of the Business Council Board. It will sustain the viability of workplace inclusion and diversity for years to come. Stac Millender, Chairman of the Board of Directors of GDIF, states, The Global Diversity and Inclusion Foundations formation of the Business Council will create benchmark work in this field. The Council will work to change mindsets around inclusion and diversity with the work that will be done. This is how GDIF will create and provide globally relevant solutions with the future state of the workplace in mind. Global Diversity and Inclusion Foundation recognizes that workplace inclusion and diversity is no longer diversity 101 that it has moved towards inclusion, states Chuck Obina, President/CEO of GDIF. I am confident that the business council will think outside the box and beyond today to raise the bar for workplace inclusion and diversity. The business council consists of diversity executives, employees and individuals from an array of workplaces.
