Recorders and Medicare Systems

Leading through Innovation

INTRODUCTION
Recorders & Medicare Systems (RMS) was founded in the year 1975. That was the time we laid the foundation for the electrophysiology industry in India. Ever since, we have remained the cornerstone of this industry in the country, leading change and product innovation through intensive indigenous research & development. Recognition as an R&D unit by the Government of India came in 1978.The turn of the century saw the ISO Certification coming our way, and after that there was no looking back. Today RMS, as the company is popularly known, is some 450+ strong, and has an awesome 70+ products in its production range. Polyrite, the first Indian Polygraph was developed within the first year of inception in 1975; followed by the 8-channel analog electroencephalograph (EEG) in the year 1977, wherein we became a part of a select group of 7 EEG manufacturers in the world . It therefore comes as no surprise that since then, RMS has indigenously developed 12 new products with multiple variants in the twenty-nine years of its existence.

RMS' cumulative R&D experience of over 150 man-years and a conscientious fiscal investment of an equivalent of 10-15% of turnover; year-on-year; in research and development activities ensures that our equipments incorporate the latest in product specifications and technology. This, coupled with the high degree of autonomy accorded to R&D personnel within the organization, has led to consistent

development productivity that adheres to strictly defined quality parameters.

The core competencies developed for our in-house R&D over the years include: Precision mechanics Digital Signal Processing Embedded technologies, Software design & development

The R&D base of RMS has been built from the ground up. Institutional Relationships and integrated user feedback has provided us with rich experience and retained knowledge in electrophysiology. Keeping ourselves up-to-date with the present and future requirements of the market, we have evolved through and adapted different generations of technology into our products. This depth of understanding also enables us to put futuristic technological advances into the right perspective. Our pioneering role, domain knowledge and depth of experience have won us the continued respect and support of the medical fraternity.

Recorders & Medicare Systems (RMS) founded in the year 1975, laid the foundation for electrophysiology industry in India. Today, we have products catering to the needs in diagnostic arena, under: Neurology Cardiology Pulmonology ENT / Audiology Critical Care Sleep Studies Blood Chemistry Psychiatry Imaging Education

Research and Development RMS strongholds in all areas of engineering required for product development.
