The Haunted Chambers

COSMO’S World Theme Park
recently unveiled “The Haunted
Chambers” in conjunction with
its fifth anniversary.
Construction of the cham-
bers cost some RM150,000,
of which RM80,000 was spent
on imported electronic props
and RM50,000 on overall
design.
The attraction is the first of
its kind in Kuala Lumpur, with six
horror chambers featuring the
use of animatronic props and
life-like figures.
The adventure begins in a
living room where a host leads
visitors through the chambers.
“The scare effects are made
realistic through the use of
the latest technology and ani-
matronics,” Berjaya Corporation
executive director Datuk Azlan
Meah said.
“We expect to draw a good
crowd to the park in view of the
current school holidays and the
Malaysia Year End Sales,” he
added.
The Haunted Chambers are
located on the fifth floor of Cos-
mo’s World Theme Park, Berjaya
Times Square. Entrance fees are
RM7 on weekdays and RM9 on
weekends. Children under 12
should be accompanied by a
parent or guardian.
