ABOUT LAST NIGHT...: The Curve’s bats fell silent against a Harrisburg Senators starter for the second straight night on Wednesday, mustering just four hits and a single run against Harrisburg’s Daniel Rosenbaum. Utilizing nine strikeouts and zero walks, Rosenbaum dominated the Curve on the night, recording 14 groundball outs in addition to his nine Ks. Tony Sanchez was the only Altoona batter with multiple hits on the night, and not a single one of the Curve’s four knocks went for extra bases. The Curve put just one run and ten hits on the board over the last two games of their road trip. Altoona starter Nathan Baker was lifted after 2.2 IP, taking his first loss by allowing five runs on four hits while walking four and striking out two. CURVE/RICHMOND SERIES: Meeting for the second time in a week, the Curve will be looking to avenge a series loss to the Flying Squirrels at The Diamond in Richmond from April 19-22. This season, these two clubs will see each other a total of 21 times with 14 of those meetings coming in Altoona.
